The pulled-pea burger caught my eye right away. Nice mix of textures, not too heavy. I had it with the homemade iced tea, which was refreshing. Good to see a place putting real thought into vegan options. Portion was decent for the price. I’d come back for that burger again.

You can feel the history here, it’s one of the oldest inns around. Service was warm and attentive. Prices are steep, but the food quality makes up for it.

The waiter remembered our order without writing it down — that got me. Felt personal, not rushed. Food came quick too. Place was busy but we never waited long. Just a nice evening out, nothing over the top. Maybe a bit loud near the kitchen, but I'd sit there again.

Stopped by for dinner last week — the pasta was cooked properly, not mushy, and the sauce had real depth. Service was friendly without hovering. Only thing: the starters felt a bit overpriced for what you got. Fine spot if you want a relaxed meal without fuss.

The coconut curry soup was the standout for me—rich, creamy, and just the right amount of spice. I’m not normally a soup person, but I finished every last drop. Paired it with a crisp Riesling, which cut through the heat nicely. Solid choice if you’re in the mood for something comforting.

The cocktails at Beach Motel were way more creative than I expected. Bartender remembered my order on the second round, which was a nice touch.

We went for New Year’s Eve dinner. The interior is clean and quite nice, and the food was well-prepared. The set menu tasted good, but portions were a bit small for what we paid. Also, they don’t take credit cards, even though the sign says otherwise. Decent spot overall, just keep that in mind.

Stopped by for a late lunch on the terrace. Beach chairs are a nice touch, really chill vibe. Got the grilled fish, it was fresh and cooked well. Service was friendly without hovering. Only thing, it's a bit out of the way, but that's probably why it's so quiet. Fine spot if you're nearby.

The schnitzel was huge, honestly could've fed two. Paid €14 and left properly full, that's rare around here. Service was fine, no complaints. Place gets busy so you might wait a bit, but for the portion size it's worth it.

Stayed here for a night and really liked the setting right on the water. The style is understated, not flashy. Good price for what you get. Would book again if I'm back in the area.

The interior looks great, modern and warm. But the tables are really close together. On a busy night you basically join your neighbors' conversation. Food was solid, service too. Just wish there was a bit more space between us.

We came with our baby and honestly they were so accommodating. They brought her food out early so it had time to cool, which I thought was really thoughtful. Made the whole dinner way less stressful. Just a nice spot if you have little ones.

Decent lunch spot. The set menu was fairly priced and the food came out quickly. We had our dog with us and they were totally fine about it, which was nice. Toilet was clean too. Nothing fancy, but a pretty good option if you're in the area and want an easy meal.

Came here for dinner and grabbed a seat by the window. View over the Schlei is really something, especially as it got darker. Had the salmon, pretty solid. Risotto looked good too, maybe next time. Service was nice but a bit stretched, took a while to get the bill. Place was full, so booking probably helps. Fine spot if you're around Schleswig.

The burger was decent and reasonably priced. Service stayed polite even when their order system had a hiccup — server owned up to it. Fine spot for a quick bite.

Been coming here for a while now. Portions are still huge and the quality holds up every time. Yeah it's a bit pricey, but you definitely leave full. Service has been consistent too.

Food was solid, service quick. Bit pricey for what you get, but you're paying for the quality. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Stopped by the cart on the promenade for a latte macchiato—honestly didn’t even reach for sugar, which says a lot. Nice touch with the reusable cups, too. Would’ve loved a proper wine option, but for a quick coffee stop it hit the spot.

The breakfast buffet is reasonably priced for what you get. I liked that there were fresh fruits and some lighter options. Though I have to say, the vegan choices felt a bit basic. Would have loved some plant-based waffles or maybe a tofu scramble instead of just the usual sides. Still, for the price, it's decent.

The four-course menu was solid, especially the main. Room felt a bit neglected though, and we had to wave for the waiter a couple times.

Lovely open-air terrace right by the beach — heaters made it comfortable even in winter. Service stayed attentive despite the busy crowd.

The restaurant has a super cozy atmosphere with incredibly nice staff and very tasty food. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.

Steak was solid, prices fair. Lake view from the window table made it worth it. Service dragged a bit even though it wasn't busy.

Came here for dinner last week and honestly the portions are what surprised me most. We ordered the schnitzel and it was huge for the price. Couldn't finish it all. The place was busy but we still got our food quick. Only thing is the sides are a bit basic, but for what you pay it's fine. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Lovely cellar spot with that rustic vibe. The lunch menu is honestly a steal for what you get. Book ahead though, it fills up quick.

Sitting in that glass-enclosed beach chair, watching the sunset over the dike... that was the moment. Pizza and antipasti with Lambrusco were solid, nothing fancy but hit the spot. The view really does all the heavy lifting here. Just wish the glass wasn't so fogged up from the heat inside.

Stopped by for a few beers and some food. The pale ale was solid, and the pretzel with beer cheese hit the spot. Place was pretty busy even on a weekday, so we ended up sharing a table. Service was fine, nothing crazy. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday. Pizza was thin, crispy, proper Italian style. You can hear the staff speaking Italian to each other in the back, which felt genuine. Not the fanciest place, but the food does the talking. Prices are fair for the quality. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Came with a group of seven plus five dogs—they set up a table outside without fuss. Veggie options and the fresh fish were solid. Good spot if you're in the area.
