唐立人旅行记Hotel Moskva, a Moscow hotel visited by Einstein. The hotel was built in 1908 by King Petar I Karadjordjevic. He was the king of the Kingdom of Serbia and the founding monarch of the First Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Hotel Moskva witnessed important historical events in Serbia and the Balkans, including the two world wars and the Yugoslav Civil War (Bosnian War/Kosovo War). The architectural style of the hotel combines neo-baroque and neo-classical styles, as well as secessionist styles. It is one of the landmarks in the center of Belgrade. The afternoon tea menu introduces three heavyweight guests of the hotel: Albert Einstein (no need to introduce this), Ivo Andric (Serbian writer and Nobel Prize winner in literature), and Luciano Pavarotti (famous Italian tenor singer). Moskva Snit Moscow Cake The menu cover recommends classic dessert cake. Personally, I feel it is better than Anna cake, with cranberries in the middle, so it is sweet and sour. Ana Cake The rich chocolate aroma is not too sweet! It is a big piece, perfect with coffee. Of course, the hotel's breakfast is also very good. For more than a century, the cafe in the Moscow Hotel has been the place of choice for intellectuals, artists, diplomats and politicians. This also makes the Moscow Hotel a star hotel in the Balkan Peninsula. Celebrities who have stayed here include: Ivo Andric Robert De Niro Albert Einstein Indira Gandhi Luciano Pavarotti Maxim Gorky Alfred Hitchcock, etc. The six apartments in the hotel are named after them. Among them, the Serbian great writer Andric (who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1961 for "The Bridge on the Drina") would sit down on the second floor near the window every day after walking back from the castle, order a cup of domac coffee and a dessert called "a piece of Germany", or watch the pedestrians who came and went in a hurry, or fall into deep thought.
