The love of Serbians for art is deep in their bones and has not been washed away by the passage of time. Walking in Serbia, there are art bars everywhere, surreal graffiti everywhere, theaters that are performed every month, and even movies and music, which they regard as a very important part of life.

In Subotica, a border city near Hungary in Serbia, there is a retro movie music coffee shop from the last century, stara picerija, which opened in 1977, the first performance of &quot;Star Wars&quot;. Before entering the door, I was attracted by the row of chairs printed with photos of Marilyn Monroe. Walking along the path, there is a different world.

A room full of old movie posters covers all the walls, old movie projectors hang on the walls, there are many collections of guitars hanging inside the restaurant, a jukebox is placed in the corner, and the musician playing the saxophone is hidden behind the whiskey. When you walk in, you think you have traveled back to the 1970s, dancing with Monroe, applying lipstick like Hepburn, and secretly listening to Elvis sing a duet. Rather than calling it a cafe, it is a collection of retro movies, a dream house for old movie enthusiasts.

The prices are not cheap for such a high-style cafe. We looked at the menu and couldn&#39;t help but say, this is too cheap. In the soft time of a cup of cappuccino, savor the art of Serbia.

If it weren&#39;t for the Google Maps guide, it would be hard for us to see this restaurant, which is hidden in a street five minutes away from the Town Hall Square.

Not only is the location relatively hidden, but the facade is not very grand, with a proper rural style, but the actual store is a different world, especially suitable for gatherings. Reservations are required in advance, and two or three people can basically get seats for dinner.

The seats in the restaurant are basically empty (I didn&#39;t take a photo, but it is full of ethnic atmosphere), because the backyard is very large, everyone eats in the yard, isolated from the street, quiet and cool, and the so-called different world refers to the backyard🍄

I especially recommend the local specialty stewed lamb and beef vegetable soup, plus two glasses of juice, two breads, RMB 70 per person to eat until you are full🙈

A pot of soup was cleared in an instant, and the cheese platter with the stewed lamb was really too much to eat in the end, because the portion was too large. In fact, one stewed lamb + one bread is enough to fill the stomachs of two people.

A friend who came two weeks earlier than me arrived at one or two in the afternoon and was still queuing. Fortunately, we came at lunch time and got a seat. The waiter is good-looking and has a good attitude, and there is even a faint mint aroma in his mouth. When you have difficulty making choices, they will also recommend to you which dishes are more ordered by Chinese people. A steak that is too much to eat, a pizza, and a carrot soup, the total cost is about RMB 200 (the key is that two people can&#39;t finish it, the portion is too big). Subotica is not a big city. You can take pictures of the buildings on the pedestrian street, find a small cafe to sit and drink tea in the afternoon, and then you can prepare to return. But it is recommended to have a meal at BOSS at noon, which is definitely a sensory enjoyment with great value for money.
