Euskal Etxea Taberna

Pintxos is a restaurant and bar from the northern Basque region. Located in the alley of Born, it is always crowded, and most of the diners are locals. Once you walk in, you will know that the taste is right. If you want to experience the atmosphere of Spanish taberna standing dining, come here. The snacks served every day are different. My friend and I tried almost every kind. The taste and atmosphere are very Spanish.

Was here for dinner with colleagues, of which one had a gluten free allergy. I was so impressed by the level of detail and knowledge from the server we ordered a number of things from the menu, and the chef was willing to adjust the recipes to be gluten-free, which was completely unexpected and appreciate it to say the least. Great restaurant, good food knowledgeable and friendly staff. And a casual and unpretentious environment. Will definitely be back!!!

We had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent and very caring and kind. We unfortunately had an overdressed salad which we did not pay for in the end. The cod, suckling pig and desserts were very good. We were in a quiet area at the back of the restaurant on a Friday. There were other diners in the same area enjoying their meals. Most people there were at the bar and outside eating tapas. It was very busy. The rate of tapa production and service was impressive and entertaining. It was very lively!

This restaurant was a great find. The pinxtos were better than the ones we had in San Sebastián. Expensive food but the service made up for it.

this is a regular place i like to visit when in Barcelona / Born area. Wish the seating arrangement was a bit more comfortable as we spent too much time trying to get comfortable and fighting to grab some "pinxos" than to socialise with our friends. will continue to visit but, would a lot more if comfort and access to service was improved
