Restaurante Parador de Cruz de Tejeda

Beautiful view in a nice and quiet atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Lots of strong flavors and new dishes, presented with style. Really enjoyed this experience!

Very good quality and quantity sampling tasty local products. Prices on the upper scale comparing to the other restaurants but it is definitely worth the price. The incredible view other the mountains can be enjoyed only during the day.

Recently ate in the Parador restaurant twice, before giving up. Staff helpful but not enough of them at the usual busy periods resulting in service well below par. Ate off the A La Carte menu though a little limited did have some reasonable choices. All four of our meals over two nights however were served “luke warm” at best and certainly not hot. This despite the server warning that the plates were hot…. they were not. Generally cold food at hot prices. The food in the Parador cafeteria was actually better ! Can’t recommend on this showing.

For my starter I ordered Croquettes which were served in a bucket lined with paper and no garnish. My main was chicken which consisted of a large tasteless joint with a few vegetables. My partner ordered the cooked cheese salad which was good but her main course of filet of fish had more than 10 fish bones and a fish scale that made the meal inedible. Having been looking forward to a Parador meal we left very disappointed.
