Mestís: Restaurante Mexicano - Bajamed

The food was succulent, the staff friendly and serviceable. We highly recommend it.We had the ceviche, the nachos, some tacos and, the apple crumble. All choices were excellent and I’d love to return to taste the rest.

Excellent and in our opinion authentic Mexican food. We started with the guacamole which was served with fresh and crispy tortilla chips, pico de gallo and feta, moved onto fried shredded chicken tacos and finished with the pork pibil which was fallling-off-the-bone-tender served with fresh tortillas, mole and tomatillo sauces (wonderful), guacamole and pickled onions. The service was efficient and friendly, the seating comfortable, the ambience warm and the spicy margarita fantastic.We really enjoyed our visit and wouldn’t hesitate to return on our next visit to Palma. Fab.

Fantastic ambiance, food and service, it was a culinary experience with a lot of inspiration from Latin America, highly recommend this restaurant!

Delicious food, great tapas and starters, nice interior, superb service!

Although the setting is quite cute, the food and the service were not really good. Our tuna tartar had pieces of obviously old (brown-green) tuna mixed in with fresher (red) pieces. The entrecôte was acceptable but although we ordered a medium rare, a medium and a well done version, they all came out looking the same...rather rare.The hamburger was not done Indies. When we were able to catch the waitress to ask for it to be cooked some more, it came back looking quite the same. To add insult to injury, the person that ordered the crab tacos had to wait for her tacos so long that we eventually all started to eat in order that the rest of our food wasn't cold. She received her tacos just as the other five of us finished our food. No one came by to ask how things were and we generally felt a lack of attention especially given it was a slow Monday night.
