Friendly staff, helped us out since we don&#39;t speak Bulgarian. Food was fresh and tasted good. Menu had plenty of options.

The souffl&eacute; was really good&mdash;light, airy, not too sweet. Paid about 18 lev for it and a drink, which felt fair for the size. Place was clean, service didn&#39;t rush us. Probably the best meal I had in Bulgaria, though I didn&#39;t try much else on the menu.

The schnitzel came out darker than I&rsquo;d like&mdash;over-fried, and the salt was a bit much. Crumb coating had that oily crunch though, so I finished it. Place itself is nice, quiet enough to talk without shouting. Maybe just an off day with the fryer. Would come back and try the pork belly instead.

The grilled octopus was the only thing I cared about and it delivered. Tender, smoky, just enough salt. Ate it slow, didn&#39;t want it to end. Garden&#39;s nice but I wasn&#39;t there for that. Slightly pricey for the portion, but I&#39;d order it again.

The lamb here is really good&mdash;I got it with some barbecue and honestly couldn&rsquo;t stop eating. Sat on the terrace since it was sunny, which made it even better. Prices feel fair for what you get. Just wish the service was a bit quicker, but I&rsquo;d still come back.
