What travelers say:
There seemed to be insufficient staff initially and those there were very busy seeing people to their tables plus taking food orders at a separate counter. It took longer than expected to be served but we were not in any rush so it didnt matter. We were very happy with our fish meals and also the puddings and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Lovely different afternoon tea. Staff were friendly. Enjoyed the afternoon tea very much.
The service and the food were excellent.Very professional and comfortable.
The foosld arrived quickly and tasted fresh. 2 adults had cod and chips and kids had a mixture of cod burgers and chicken burgers. The service and atmosphere were marked down as we asked for our table to be wiped clean as it was very sticky, which the waitress acknowledged. She never came back to clean the table. Her nails were also extremely dirty. Waitress was very friendly but the overall cleanliness let the place down. Toilets were clean
Staff were lovely but service was a little slow. It looked like a canteen and it was very cold where we were sitting. We had the fish and chips afternoon tea, the chips, the onion rings, mushy peas and curry sauce were cold however, the fish burgers, fish cakes, sausages and battered Ed pickles were good. The bread and butter pudding with custard and the banana fritters with biscoff sauce were lovely.
