Wow! What an amazing surprise! The place was packed and we were delayed to seat at our table. However the staff was so empathetic and apologetic that erased any hard feeling. The food was amazing despite the workload and we were sat really comfortably at distance to others. Particular thank you to the manager who came at the end to again apologise for the delay and have a nice chat. Felt like being taken care of from people you know. Grazie Mille!

I’ve eaten in Al Pomodoro several times and never been disappointed. However last evening, although the two veggie choices were very delicious, my husband chose the pork dish which he thought afterwards was very overpriced. He thought it was to be pork belly, but it just didn’t seem to be. He would stick to vegetarian next time. He also thought the small glass of Prosecco was overpriced at £9., we have paid less in places like Cote.

Fabulous food and wonderfully informed and attentive service without being intrusive. On reflection I would probably not choose a Saturday night again as the restaurant was so popular it was almost mobbed although the staff managed the situation well. Other visits I have made have been less noisy and more relaxing. Will definitely go again.

Very accommodating, great and friendly service. Rav & Marco went the extra mile and really helped to make the celebrations a memorable one.

Bustling, thriving Friday evening, happy atmosphere, adequately staffed for the numbers, excellent Italian food and wines
