The shiso wrapped chicken and ume chicken were divine! And the nigiri sushi was authentic and nice and fresh as you can get it state side. The best was the bartender! He tended to our every need until we got seated!

The deluxe sashimi included salmon, yellowtail, tuna, bonito, mackerel. So happy! We ordered a lot of dishes. Smelt, mackerel, sweet corn, miso soup, grilled chicken kashi, avocado and crab sushi roll, salmon roe sushi, grilled mushrooms, grilled Shinto peppers, avocado roll, shiitake grilled tofu roll, azuki, tempura shrimp and vegetables, just perfect. The only regret is that there is no white singing and peach liqueur, make sure you get up as early as Kirala.

This has been one of my favorite sushi restaurants for a long time and I was even more impressed when I recently returned. I came on a Friday night during the busiest time and was seated at a table for two in less than five minutes (I was alone). I ordered grilled calamari and sushi. The calamari was perfectly grilled and served with two sauces, and perhaps a little tough. But the sushi was very fresh and delicious. The service was attentive and considerate, even during busy times.
