The last salty soup with taro and chicken head rice was the first time I ate it. It had a Fujian style [snickering]. Although I didn’t finish the wine, I finished all the dishes [applause][applause

Ming Xuan is a chain restaurant brand that specializes in Chinese food in Chicago. The one we went to was the one in Chinatown, which is also the one with the best business. Their Cantonese restaurant serves delicious roasted pigeon, which is very authentic.
My two kids (12 and 10) and I went to MingHin for lunch today. It was great. We walked in and were seated right away. We ordered five dishes from the dim sum menu plus one dessert. We loved everything except the spare ribs - it was a taste issue as it tasted good. The three of us tried to guess the cost as I never see individual prices on the menu. We had a great meal for $34! Everyone was full and satisfied. We all loved the fried squid and the pork veggie bun
Today, I had a feast for my eyes at the Art Institute of Chicago. I didn't feel hungry until 3 pm. I found a Chinese restaurant about 10 minutes' walk from the Art Museum. During non-meal time, there were empty seats in the restaurant. They only served Cantonese-style snacks. This was the most authentic restaurant we had in the United States. The food was served very quickly. The service was not inferior to that in Hong Kong. Highly recommended!
I was looking for a place to have breakfast early in the morning and wandered into this place. The Cantonese cuisine was the same as usual with the morning tea feeling. I ordered leek shrimp dumplings, steamed pork ribs with black bean sauce, and green vegetable tofu soup. It is one of the places I look for Chinese flavors when I am abroad. The taste here is really good, even better than some tea restaurants in China. You can also order snacks during dinner time. I recommend the lava buns, pork ribs rice noodle rolls, and fried rice noodles. The desserts are also very good and the price is not expensive.
