The Modern is a restaurant adjacent to the Museum of Modern Art - MOMA. It is actually two restaurants, the Modern Bar and the Modern Dining Room. Quiet, elegant environment with entertaining menu choices for three, five, or eight course, prix fixe dinners. Trout and herring starters excellent and wonderfully presented. Duck and pork entrees also superbly cooked and presented. Fine selection of wines by the glass and aquavits
