New World Mall Food Court

The New World Food Court is located in Queens, and the surrounding area is where Chinese people are concentrated, so there are a lot of Chinese dishes in the food court, and many of them are very authentic.

Flushing in New York is in Queens, a Chinese gathering area with many Chinese restaurants and supermarkets. New World is a relatively large one, and the underground food court brings together dozens of Chinese and foreign food stalls. We chose Youzi Laoya Vermicelli Restaurant and ordered crab meat and shrimp soup dumplings, three fresh and shrimp wontons, and a bowl of scallion oil noodles. The soup dumplings and wontons are good and taste authentic, but the scallion oil noodles are far from good, and it feels like instant noodles mixed with a little oil. In addition, the Laoya vermicelli soup is very good, and the content of a large bowl is very rich.

It feels like a food city in Hong Kong, with mainly Hong Kong-style tea restaurants and a lot of Sichuan cuisine.

It's not as lively as before. I hope the pandemic ends soon so I can go back to eat that old duck vermicelli soup.

The food court has a wide variety of dishes, and I like them all, but I won't eat that dry pot dish again.
