I enjoyed a very satisfying dinner at a restaurant called Casa Guadalajara. Each of their dishes was special and amazed me.
This was a memorable Mexican food experience, with a bustling and noisy atmosphere and a Marian calendar band. Due to the holidays, the restaurant had more festive decorations to enhance the sensory experience. The food was OK, but nothing special (the seafood was a bit overcooked) and the salad might be too spicy for some. But overall, the portions were good, the wait staff was attentive and the atmosphere was fun. Reasonably priced.
🔸San Diego, the oldest city in California, is located at the border between the United States and Mexico and is also the second largest city in California. What makes it different from Los Angeles is its unique historical and cultural heritage. It is the place where the Spaniards first set foot on Californian soil after Columbus discovered the New World. 🔸Casa Guadalajar is a Mexican restaurant with a history of more than 40 years. It has branches in many places in South America, India and Asia. The one in San Diego is located in the famous tourist attraction Old Town. 🍲Recommended dishes: 👉For those of us who are not familiar with Mexican dishes, the main way to order is to see what ingredients are in the description of the dishes and how they are prepared. 👉The almost indispensable side dishes for each dish are onions, bell peppers, lettuce, etc., as well as avocado sauce and various sauces. 👉Friends who like soft and glutinous taste are not recommended to order rice sets. 🖼Restaurant environment: The restaurant is colorful and full of ethnic characteristics. There are many people dining here, so you need to wait for a table, but it won't take long. You can make full use of the waiting time to walk around the outdoor area of the restaurant and take a look. 💰Per capita consumption: 200 yuan 📝Note tips: 👉The set meal is surprisingly large, and for those who don't often eat Mexican food, be prepared. You are not tasting the original flavor of the ingredients, but rich seasonings and side dishes. The taste is heavy and greasy. 👉I personally feel that the dishes are not exquisite, and may not be "internationalized", so the taste should still be very Mexican. You can try to experience the ethnic customs of Mexico from the perspective of tasting authentic food.
