Date night and wow ... Robun did not dissapoint. The food was just delicious, spicy edamame beans, chicken skewer and dumplings for me, my husband is vegetarian and there was plenty of choice. Tempura vegetables, sweet and sour tofu and amazing truffle and mushroom rice. Service was exception with knowledgeable waiters on both foodcand wine. Really cannot fault this play, will return a lot, can't wait to take friends.
The atmosphere was gorgeous, sophisticated but friendly. The staff were wonderful. I highly recommend the butterfish sashimi, which I'd never had before, and the bluefin tuna tartare.
Our first visit to Robun and even though we had heard good reviews it exceeded all our expectations - the food was an interesting and varied menu of exquisitely cooked and presented delights, some I’d tried before and some were a new experience. The nasu dengaku, the vegetarian gyozas and the wagyu beef tataki were our absolute favourites - thank you to all involved!
An authentic Japanese restaurant with a superb menu with a wide ranging food and drinks choice. Great service and a good ambience too. Would strongly recommend.
