At the risk of being boring, I like this Harvester venue, great staff from chef to waitress. Big bonus, recently renovated and now very green and pleasant. Was quietish thisweek possibly due to up and coming holiday. Rather be eating with friend than a traffic queue!

The Beacon has had its' makeover and its' rather good! Food fine as usual so on to the decor. Looks good, whoever designed the colour pallette and the spacing has a really good eye. Fresh and different with traditional but different dividing with 'bee' stylee bits, greenery and an amazing tile tower in green and light cream. The dining furniture updated and comfortable. A new take with some tradition which I found a lovely change from the 'norm'. Done a good one here M&B! Oh and the lunch menu was delish and good value!
Always top notch at this location. My friend and I have never had a bad meal here. We tried the new 'deal' menu and it is a great deal. Perfectly cooked fish in a lovely light batter. All good and the staff are great.Wish them best luck with the refurbishment due March.
All the staff were pleasant and conscientious. We had particularly good service from Chelsea. The chicken was moist and delicious.
Like Harvester, a lot, in particular the Beacon at Great Barr heading towards Walsall, Food delicious, staff very plesant as always. Great cactch up with friend. Small point, parking here is HI-VIS, impossible to NOT enter Car Reg. Write this as query with the also excellent Arden Oak...Parking screen NOT HI-VIS...case ongoing but hoping for a good outcome.Back to good stuff...these are great locations, food always spot on.
