Fisher's Pond

I haven't been to the Fishers Pond so this was a trip back in time. The setting is still as I remember, obviously the staff and menu wasn't going to be the same but I wasn't disappointed, the menu provides a variety of dishes and the roast which we chose was probably one of the best i have had. As for the staff, friendly and efficient, so big 10/10 to all!

Been here a few times now , the food is excellent, if the weather is good it’s great to sit outside looking over the pond .. nothing bad to say about it. Wonderful place.

Very lovely place on the lake, great food great service, gets busy so always book a table. We’ve never had a bad meal so far. The fillet is gorgeous.

Fishers Pond has an attractive setting and is a clean, well-laid out restaurant. On arrival a queue had formed at the bar and we were uncertain how we should proceed. No-one came to us and we waited 5-10 minutes before someone said we could take a certain table. We took ourselves there - we were not shown or given the possibility of a table nearer to the water. The restaurant was busy but not full. Once seated everything went much more smoothly. However, 2 of the meals we chose were no longer available despite still being on the menu, and we had not been advised otherwise when we sat down. Two staff members seemed to be long-standing staff but others seemed new and to be in training. The staff uniform was rather a severe colour and staff did not stand out initially. We ordered drinks and then food at nice intervals. The food came in an acceptable time-frame and was very tasty. The menu choice was good (apart from the non-availability). Desserts were also very nice. The vegan & vegetarian options were appreciated. A pleasant experience but a member of staff on the door would have been helpful.
