I ordered the fish and chips and the fish was still swimming. When I took a bite into the fish, the back of the fish exploded with water falling out of the back. My buddy ordered the same thing and his fish was also still swimming. Also the place was a little pricey. 0/10. I wouldn’t go there again if it saved my moms life.

Fun Irish Pub located in the Highland district of Louisville, we were in walking distance from our Airbnb. I ordered a flavorful salad with salmon and found it very good. My husband&apos;s fish and chips were also well-received. Nice server as well.

We really enjoyed it here.  Came both nights we stayed in Louisville.  Scotch eggs were great. Good drink prices. We also enjoyed the fish and chips!

Quaint Pub

My son and I recently took a day trip to Louisville to pick up some light fixtures for our house and to go to Molly Malones to have some fish and chips.  This is my second trip to Molly Malones.  The last time I visited this establish was about 15 years ago.  It was good then; and it was good today.  This pub/restaurant has been around for a long time.  We arrived at around noon.  a  good time, because the place was not packed.  We were there strictly for the meal, as I had to drive back over a hundred miles home.   The inside of the pub is what you expect for an Irish pub.  It&apos;s a little hard for me to describe except to say it looked like an Irish pub.  Lots of wood work in the interior.  Very warm, relaxing, and inviting place.  We both felt very comfortable there.  And for good reason.  The food is pretty good for pub food.  Now my opinion on pub food is it is usually worth a trip to dine on.  We both ordered the fish and chips.  One can order one or two pieces of fish.  We both ordered two pieces of fish.  They were very healthy portions.  So healthy I could only eat one piece.  I had to ask for a box to take home half of my meal.   It was outstanding.  Very, very tasty.  The steak fries (chips) we crispy, which is the way i like them.  My son was very impressed with the meal.  The person taking care of us was Lucy.  A big thank you for your politeness  and smiling face, Lucy.  My recommendation?  If your looking for a place with good food, a comfortable environment, and friendly people, this is a place to stop by and get some eats.  Traditional Irish and American dishes.
