If like us you enjoy the food of Ottolenghi or Berber and Co then this eatery is the closest you'll find in NOLA. The 4 star is not down to them doing anything badly it's just for modern Israeli style food we've eaten better. If on the other hand you have not had this style of cuisine before then you will absolutely love it.

This restaurant is OK, but there are many disappointing aspects. The biggest one is that there is really too little food. I always felt like I was ripped off after paying the bill. Other things are OK and the taste is good.

I saw two girls sitting next to me ordering soup and saying it was delicious, so I ordered it too, and they gave me a cake. I think the Chinese translation of that soup should be called "clear stewed lion's head and old duck lettuce soup", which is Huaiyang style and very delicious. When I asked the chef, he was Israeli, and it seemed that the other dishes were Middle Eastern, except for this dish, which had no bones except for the duck meat, and the vegetables seemed to be borage or something like that, full of Yangzhou style. I felt like I was eating the Kung Fu Panda of the catering industry.

If it weren't for the strong recommendation from my new local painter friend, I would have definitely not noticed this restaurant. The design is very low-key and there was no queue at the door. Especially at that time, I had lunch too late and was not hungry at all. But once the dishes were served, I couldn't stop eating. You can see how delicious it is.

The environment is OK. The price is not expensive. The overall service is OK. The place is easy to find. The waiter can speak Chinese, which is better. The food is just OK. I am not used to it.
