If like us you enjoy the food of Ottolenghi or Berber and Co then this eatery is the closest you&#39;ll find in NOLA. The 4 star is not down to them doing anything badly it&#39;s just for modern Israeli style food we&#39;ve eaten better. If on the other hand you have not had this style of cuisine before then you will absolutely love it.

Nirvana had great food and very friendly staff we were traveling hungry and tired so we stepped in for a bite to eat everything was fresh and hot and served with a big smile.but to be honest, the portions really not big

The first thing about Charlies to know is that is exists because of locals. Without them it would probably fold because it is in a quiet upotown neighborhood. Their service is wonderful- patient and understanding. They explain their menue and repeat as needed.
