The River Café

The place is charming. The china and flower arrangements very colorful. The menu offers a wide variety of delicous dishes. Wonderful views, obbiously. The only weak point, in my humble opinion: the tables... very uncomfortable considering this restaurant has 1 Michelin star. It is the kind of metal table you use in the garden

The River Cafe... I've always heard that American dishes are really big... The tasting menu alone has about 5 servings of meat and vegetable courses as shown in the picture... The big portion of potatoes next to it... I won't mention the other giant appetizers and desserts...

The restaurant is next to the Brooklyn Bridge. Because the scenery is so beautiful, I walked around here before going to the restaurant. I made a reservation ten days in advance, but only reserved a seat until 9:30 in the evening. The steak was average, but the lamb chops were really delicious.

It feels like the plates used in Michelin restaurants are all wholesaled from the same place. Needless to say, the restaurant environment is great.
