City Tavern Restaurant

Philadelphia City Tavern in 1773! Washington and other congressmen had dinner here! The tableware, waiter clothes and menu of this restaurant are still in 1773! Very unique! Very delicious!

The service was excellent, food was delicious ! Wide selection on menu, very historic and beautiful building.

City Tavern, a restaurant that a friend in Philadelphia brought me to, has a very nice environment, feels very much like a garden house, and has a wide variety of wines to choose from.

It's 2017, and there's Double 12 every year. This year is another Double 12 [happy]. I listened to the beautiful melody played by the beautiful harpsichord at the City Tavern, which was often visited by the founding fathers of the United States during the discussion and signing of the Declaration of Independence. The food here should be good, but it's a pity that our Chinese stomachs can't adapt to it... Just fill your stomach... Since we're here, we might as well be cool and show off! But the money is unlucky... 1,500 RMB per person... The rich can do whatever they want...

It is said that the dishes here are made according to recipes from more than 200 years ago, and even several beers here are brewed according to old recipes. The waiters, decorations and even tableware here have restored the American style of more than 200 years ago. The portions are quite large, and my favorite dish is "venison", which is venison. The rich wild meat flavor is unforgettable!

This historic restaurant exceeded our expectations and the food was amazing. We learned about this restaurant from the RLTV TV show "A Taste of History". But what made us even more surprised was meeting Walter Staib himself in the restaurant! He was very friendly and had a great personality. Our waiter Greg recommended excellent dishes and wines that went perfectly. We had a very pleasant and wonderful meal

Absolutely love this restaurant and the food. Highly recommend!!! I had the Chicken la Franklin (I'm sure that's what it was called) and it was delicious. My husband had the tenderloin with mushrooms and my friend had the lamb. Everything was excellent. Definitely a must visit.

After entering, I felt that its decoration style was relatively ordinary, but there were still a lot of people inside. I ordered a few dishes and was completely attracted. They were so delicious and the food quantity was also large. It was really great.
