This is a high-end creative cuisine restaurant named Birdsong that was selected into the 2020 Ctrip Food Forest Flavor Restaurant List. Their dishes are quite refreshing to me.

had dinner on a recent trip to SF. The 200 tasting menu was worth the price given the quality and quantity of the fish. Favorite was the sea urchin with salmon roe. A5 wagyu beef was also very tasty.

We visited a Japanese steakhouse on the weekend: Niku Steakhouse, which opened at the beginning of the year and has the same owner as Omakase. My friend said that this restaurant only has delicious Wagyu, so the four of us ordered four Wagyu (my wallet was crying and my heart was bleeding).

They are Kobe, Bushu, Satsuma, and Takamori. Takamori is off-menu. The waiter said that the feed these cows eat contains grains for brewing sake, commonly known as &quot;drunk&quot;, which is limited every month.

After eating, I feel that the cheapest Satsuma is the most delicious, not too greasy, and the meat of &quot;drunk&quot; is the most tender, with just the right amount of fat and lean, melting in the mouth, and the taste is really different. Kobe has beautiful marble patterns and less fat, between &quot;drunk&quot; and Satsuma. Bushu has the most obvious charcoal grilled flavor and is very fragrant.

House Roll is sesame bread, crispy and delicious, with butter made from wagyu, it&#39;s so delicious! Beef Tartare and grilled corn are also very good, worth a try.

The most surprising thing is the knife selection process, even the small machete is loved! At the same time, there are some shortcomings in service, such as serving four wagyu at the same time, which resulted in the last two pieces being almost cold, and they didn&#39;t change our plates in the middle.

But their attitude is still quite good. After pointing it out to them, they also gave us two ice creams as an apology. At that time, we were lucky enough to be arranged in a small room with only two tables. It was relatively quiet, and the hall was much more crowded.

My honest opinion: Wagyu beef is really expensive. This meal cost me $200 per person. I don&rsquo;t think I will come again😂

Delicious lunch! Had the delicious Caesar salad followed by the Pacific Hog Island oysters &amp; the Humboldt Gold oysters. Also added the shoestring potatoes and chocolate Gateau for dessert. All of this was with an excellent Gruner Veltliner! Excellent service by Teddy.
