Anno 1905 Review

我们去那里吃晚饭,然后去看歌剧魅影。 这是一个非常舒适的地方,有很好的传统美食。 我们很喜欢这里的土豆Wiener Schnitzel sautéed。 我还想再来一次。

Absolutly a restaurant to visit before the musical Aladdin near by. The inventory is as it says Anno 1905. I recomend the "Hamburger PANNFISCH" with extra crabbs.

This place is steeped in history from the building itself, which as you might have guessed is circa 1905 and based on the photos it doesn't seem like its change one bit since its inception over 100 years ago, to the food. The menu is a litany of northern German 'delights', perhaps some of the menu items are an acquired taste but they are certainly all authentic and if you feel like travelling the North of Germany with your fork then this is the place to do it. For me it was a welcome change from pizza hamburgers, pasta and all the other typical restaurant cuisine you can find in almost every other city in the world. So why not try something a little different. Be prepared for the service, just like the restaurant its typically German and typical German customer service means: brisk, curt, inflexible with rules and borderline rude
