Romantic Hotels in Luang Prabang Province, Laos

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel—perfect for families looking for comfort and convenience. The garden is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained—our kids loved running around while we relaxed in the serene atmosphere. The location is great, just a few minutes from the town center, making it easy to explore local shops, markets, and restaurants. Despite being close to everything, the hotel still feels quiet and relaxing. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable—clearly well taken care of. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and cleanliness. The staff are amazing—warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They made our stay even more memorable by going above and beyond for our family. And the breakfast? Simply superb! A great variety of local and international options, fresh fruits, and delicious coffee or tea’s to start the day right. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a cozy, garden-side stay near town!

I love everything about this hotel. I actually booked it at the very last minute as I had to cancelled the other hotel due to incorrect date. Room was so spacious, very clean, and the breakfast spread was not bad too. If you are vegetarian, you may ask them to make new ones if they have it. Pool was really great, staff was extremely helpful & friendly. Do not worry if the location is just a bit out of the centre, they have free shuttle services & pick up too. The spa massage was amazing too. And i love that they also provide free shuttle to train station or airport if you stay 2 nights. Do not hesitate to book this hotel!

This hotel is really cost-effective! The room is clean, well-equipped and the price is very affordable. Although the hotel is not in the city center, the transportation is very convenient. You can reach various attractions in a few minutes by tuk-tuk. The hotel staff is very friendly and makes people feel warm when checking in. In short, this is a very good hotel and I recommend it to everyone!

Located in the old town between the Mekong River and the Nam Khan River, it is within walking distance of major tourist attractions such as Wat Xieng Thong, Royal Palace Museum, Mount Phousi, and the Night Market. Bicycle rental is free. There is a hotel app, and if you download it, you can request amenities and cleaning from the app. I downloaded it, but in the end I never used it. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The TV was a smart TV. There were oranges and longan as welcome fruits. There was a safety deposit box. In addition to a coffee maker, there were also tea bags. Snacks were charged. I think they said that one soft drink and one alcoholic drink were free in the refrigerator. Maybe it was one bottle per night. When I took a shower, the toilet was flooded, but there were rubber sandals. When I checked in, I was able to choose my favorite soap, so I chose lemongrass. There were not many guests staying at the first night's breakfast buffet. The second night was a buffet. The food was very delicious. It was a comfortable stay and well worth the price.

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment and it was immaculate and cosy all at the same time. Double balcony; fully equipped kitchen, open plan dining area and lounge and a very comfortable bed but the absolute highlight for me was the free standing bath (beside the shower big enough for a whole football team). There is secure door entry both at the room and the building, parking available, free bicycles to borrow and they can arrange a scooter too (i think it was 180k LAK a day). There is a washing machine on the balcony whihc is also free to use. Comes in handy after a few hours out in the dust.

Everything was just like in the pictures. Super nice decoration. The room and its balcony were quite big. The taste of their breakfast was very nice, literally - only American breakfast's available, tho. Free bicycle ride. It's located in a quiet area, which is good. It's close to the aiming area (with Wat Sensoukharam scene on the back) but a bit far from the night/morning market, FYI. Unfortunately, there was a construction in front of the hotel so it was noisy during the day.

The location is fantastic - one of the best in all of LP. Room was big, clean and well-appointed. Bed was very comfortable. Service was well-intended, but staff were not really well enough trained to handle issues or special requests effectively. The restaurant was average at best, especially when compared to the value for money available almost everywhere else.

The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, and the rooms are also great. It's an ideal spot for a vacation.

We liked - location, breakfast, bed and pillows very comfortable, staff amazing , complimentary mini bar, free bikes, free shuttle to anywhere in town ,  fast wifi.  Beautiful setting and deco.  Toun , the lady at the reception was amazing !!  We didn’t like - bad sewer smell in the room, window in toilet has no glass so sound from the street , especially in the morning is quite annoying.  Prices of some services are way too high : airport transfer 400,000 Kip vs 120,000 for a loca.

Our stay had a lot of high points and a lot of low points. Starting with the high points, the grounds and room were incredible. Our experience at the spa was one of the best we’ve had. The cocktails and Laos-style burger we had for lunch one day were phenomenal. The staff were charming and very accommodating. However, there were a few aspects that were far below the experience expected of a 5 star hotel. First, cocktail service around the pool was abysmal. On almost every occasion we had to go searching for a staff member to take our order, and then the cocktails more often than not took more than half an hour to arrive. This is despite the fact that we seemed to be the only people ordering F&B at that time, i.e. they were not busy at all. Second, the breakfast was a disappointment every day - we were told we could order eggs or noodles, and had to repeatedly press the staff to find out what type of eggs and noodles, and we only discovered on the last day that there was a menu with additional options. We ordered poached eggs on toast, and the eggs had not been drained of excess liquid, and the bread was entirely soaked through. An order of waffles took over an hour to come out - first it was delivered as a pancakes, and then they just forgot about it despite repeated follow ups. The “local” Laos options lacked flavor - very little of the herbs and spice that makes Laos food great. I think this and the pool service issue are primarily the result of a lack of training and instruction for staff - they were clearly doing their best, but did not know what to do. Third, the pool area needs a lot more spent on maintenance. The decking is cracking and falling apart. The mosaic tiles in the pool are falling apart, A LOT of the tiles are missing, and I got a very large laceration on my forearm from the sharp edge of a tile sticking out. If this pool were in a western jurisdiction, it would not meet health and safety standards. Fourth, the gym was not worth visiting if you want to lift weights. Possibly the worst weights offering I’ve seen for a hotel of that price and with that much space. We want to reiterate how great and enthusiastic the staff were. I think this is primarily a management oversight, training, and maintenance capex issue.
