Visited in August, peak season. Given the central London location and the time of year, I can appreciate that prices are higher, so I somewhat understood the cost. HOWEVER, for a room costing on average 1500 RMB per night: it was small, outdated, and frankly, looked quite grubby. There was a strong, unpleasant plastic smell that greeted us upon entry and didn't dissipate even with the window cracked open for our entire four-night stay. The bed linen made me incredibly itchy all over, leaving me constantly scratching. To top it all off, at 1:30 AM, someone accidentally triggered the fire alarm, and the piercing siren blared throughout the building, prompting hundreds of guests to evacuate – certainly a dramatic and unforgettable (for all the wrong reasons) experience. Breakfast was quite varied, and the pool and gym facilities were adequate. But no matter how decent the public areas are, I'm staying in the ROOM! 😩 Absolutely NOT recommended!!!
We visited for my husbands birthday and our Wedding anniversary. The hotel was stunning from the entrance to the lounge decor to the room. We were kindly given an upgrade and were so very grateful. The room was amazing, nice and clean. The staff were all very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was brilliant, a great selection and something for everyone. The location is perfect. Thank you so much for making our stay in London just perfect. We will definitely be back. Thanks Jade and Simon

The room is big and view to the Tower of Londen is good on high floors. There are coffee machine, microwave, stove and washing machine inside the room, good enough for a few days stay. Location is very close to the metro station, and is convenient to take the circle line metro to many other places.
First day arrival at the hotel was a bit dusty and stains on the floors, but they cleaned up the day after.
Even though it was supposed to be a smoke-free hotel, there’s a strong smoking smell inside the room, and couldn’t get rid of the smell even we opened up the window, the smell remained even after our 5-nights stay.
The hotel's overall ambiance was excellent. The breakfast was incredibly generous and perfectly suited for Asian palates, especially for those who have just arrived in the UK. The service was also outstanding, and we appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks provided in the fridge. It was truly a fantastic stay.
The staff at the front desk/reception were amazing, the room was really cold due to the air condition and I had to keep calling and going back and forth for someone to help regulate the cold room. The staff in the front desk were helpful but in the end just had to give up and sleep in the cold. The cleaner were really good, without a blink the room was tidy. Thanks you all

Let's start with the positives: The hotel is located at the south end of Westminster Bridge, about a 6-7 minute walk from Waterloo Underground Station. From the room, you can see the London Eye and City Hall. This hotel is perfect for families, as its one-bedroom king suite is approximately 40 square meters and features a separate living/sleeping area. Upon entering, there's a sofa bed, and further inside is the king bed, with separate TVs in both areas. This setup can comfortably accommodate two adults and two children, with a bathroom in the middle. It feels spacious even with more people, and there's plenty of room for luggage. I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave in the room.
Now, for the downsides: Housekeeping service is quite basic; daily cleaning only involves emptying trash, changing towels, and making the bed. They occasionally even forgot to clean. Before check-in, I received an email stating we could get a complimentary bottle of wine if we opted out of housekeeping, but no one offered it proactively when we checked in. The hotel's breakfast is extremely repetitive; not a single dish changes daily, making it very monotonous. It's the same baked beans, sausages, and roasted tomatoes every single day... After an 8-day stay, we were thoroughly fed up with it. However, if you don't eat breakfast there, your options outside are mostly just sandwiches. The hotel does not proactively provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, or slippers. You have to ask the front desk at check-in or call from your room to request them.

Expensive, but super top-notch hotel. One of the best in London. Location in the heart of Chelsea perfect for those on a shopping spree or who want to experience the 'high life' in London. Super central so everything else (Theatres, Palaces, etc.) are all easy to walk or cab to.
The Peninsula Hotel has always felt like a second home to us, no matter where in the world we are. It was wonderful to return again this time. On our previous stay, the front desk manager provided exceptional service that left a lasting impression on us.
During this visit, we also utilized the concierge's mailing service. They were incredibly professional and patient, resolving our issues promptly. In total, four concierge staff assisted us during check-in and check-out. My daughter was so grateful that she gave each of them a £10 tip—they truly deserved it.
The hotel's Chinese restaurant was excellent as well. The staff there were incredibly warm and clearly took pride in their work, creating a delightful atmosphere. I should also mention that the rooms were spotlessly clean.
I'd like to share that we've been avid fans of The Peninsula Hotel's afternoon tea since the hotel opened. We've enjoyed countless afternoon teas and breakfasts here over the years. However, I must note that during peak afternoon tea hours, when the restaurant is bustling with guests, the service can be slow. We often find ourselves waiting quite a while for assistance.
During breakfast, there have been some issues, too. We've experienced order mix-ups, and on one occasion, the food wasn't fresh. During my most recent breakfast, the fruit bowl I ordered contained moldy blueberries and rotten strawberries. A blonde, fair-skinned staff member noticed the problem but didn't offer an apology. Instead, she simply said they wouldn't charge me for the fruit bowl. I just smiled and didn't press the matter further, but I believe that outstanding service should always be a top priority for The Peninsula.
Compared to stays at The Emory and Maybourne Hotel, whose staff showed remarkable warmth and attentiveness, I think there’s room for improvement. Nevertheless, I sincerely hope that The Peninsula continues to thrive and elevate its service to new heights.
Very familiar hotel to me, once I have feeling of powerless at London, I would book this hotel to resume my energy. It is very close to Vauxhall station. After checking in, I usually take a rest on the king size bed and follow with a hot bath on the bathtub.
It is so comfortable that is no word to describe.
I have been this hotel for several times and this time is a day trip only. The staff at the reception still very nice to me and let me have a special voucher for two drinks of all kind at the bar or its restaurant.
Since the restaurant was time break when I approached. There was another choice to use the voucher, which is the executive function bar on the 12th floor. So I go and see how good it is because I haven't been there before. Wow wow wow, when I jumped into it, I can spot Themes Valley, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace through the huge windows. This was really amazing moment. I snaps with my mobile to report this at once. Cause need to go, I took two bottles of drink and went with the voucher. Next time I must stay at the bar at night to have an unforgettable time. Hope you enjoy my description of this beautiful hotel. See ya next time, kisses.

Great
GGuest UserHotel room was a nice size for me and my family the pool was nice for the kids to swim in.
We had the breakfast for two days which catered for all our needs and was presented really nicely.
We ended up staying an extra night as was happy
with the facilities
For having children the location was a bit out of the way but I would say that was the only down side.

GGuest UserThis is not the first time that I have stayed in this hotel, As always, the room is spotlessly clean and the staff are s happy to help you. With any problems you might incur,
The only way that this hotel could be any better.
Is if they allow you to bring your dog with you...... The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings, perfect for dogs., And you have ground floor rooms available which go directly onto the grass outside, which is perfect for anyone wishing to bring their furry babies with them.
Other than that in my opinion, there is no hotel better than this that I have stayed in, And I have stayed in most of them.
TthisaintkokoThe hotel is nice, however at first I was offered a room on the 6th floor, as soon as I walked in I could hear the music from the bar above. Staff changed my room quickly with not much convincing needed which also makes me think that they know about the issue.
The hotel overall is 4 stars but it’s in need of some reparations as the walls are very old and the wallpaper is coming off.
Otherwise it was a good stay but price wise not really worth it.
Ah also they have the most infuriating fridge who does not unlock unless you give your card because it’s full of mini bar stuff, I did leave a deposit but then the next morning the mini bar was locked again, super annoying, called the reception for 10 mins and no one picked up.
RRichardDThe Ned is an excellent hotel in central London. A big eating area in the same building as the hotel. Very nice spa and gym. Rooms a bit small but nice and quiet.
LLexinotlexieI recently stayed at the hotel and the overall experience was great, especially Melissa and Angie at the front desk who made me feel at home with their professionalism and hospitality.
On the day of my arrival, I arrived late to the hotel, but Angie, the front desk clerk, still smiling, quickly helped me check in and patiently explained the hotel facilities to me. On the third day of my stay, Melissa, the front desk staff, patiently assisted me with the renewal procedures and kindly gave me an umbrella. Although the hotel was very busy at that time, I admired her affinity.
They maintained a high level of professionalism throughout their stay, from answering my questions to helping with restaurant reservations and transportation, and were meticulous, reflecting the excellent service standards of a five-star hotel. Of course, the location of the hotel is really good, the comfort of the room is also very good, every night I have a better sleep, especially the sound insulation, which makes me very comfortable.
My heartfelt thanks to the Langham Hotel, especially the wonderful staff at the front desk, for making my trip even more perfect. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it to other travelers! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
AAnonymous UserI have stayed in many hotels in London, and the service and facilities of this hotel are really good compared to others. The room is big, the bed is big, and the mattress is relatively supportive. The mattresses of other hotels in London were too soft, which caused back pain the next day.
SSaeeddThe two room I booked for 9 nights (23/10-1/11) stated that its size is 29 square meters, but the one i got was 23 tops and i need extra seating area for my friends there because i stayed before in the hotel and the room had a couch !!! Referring that issue to reception member (Vishua) she said that the room category i booked comes with that size and no more rooms from that category with larger size available unless I upgrade for £120 per night per room to be paid. After few days, another reception member (Tom) confirmed for me that at least one bigger room will be allocated for me by Thursday. On that day afternoon, I came to the reception and the same reception member (Vishua) repeated the same reply from day one saying there was no message from her colleague (Tom) in the system and sent a written message for me if i want an upgrade with £120 per night. I wrote a review in Google and they replied that we allocated a room for you but since my luggage was unpacked we assumed that you are happy with your room. Well I am not happy because you are contradicting yourselves and it was not a miscommunication rather trying to get extra charges on your guests. Bottom line i did not get the space i paid for nor a solution to the issue. To be fair, Special thanks to Fatima the house keeping member she was so dedicated and a happiness in this horrible situation.
GGuest UserDisappointed with the food
While Ramsey grill served an excellent a bennet soufflé the Beef Wellington was extremely average with a paste for what should have been a mushroom mixture
No Kippers on the breakfast menu a quintessential English breakfast was a disappointment too
Staff excellent especially the door men who are now celebrities and rightly so
RRose FrainHonestly just the best stay! We were only there for 2 days and although the room was relatively compact, it had everything we needed and even more in some cases!
As someone who is vegan, I often find it a little more difficult staying away when it comes to breakfast options of even something as simply as non dairy milk for my tea/coffee in the room but Inhabit HAD it!
I love the whole ethos of this place and the food for breakfast was immaculate with really lovely staff who have suggestions on the best menu items!
There was a diffuser in the room which was wonderful, it was very quiet and pitch black at night which was wonderful for sleeping. We also had a smart tv which was really nice to be able to connect to in our down time.
We used the sauna on one of the days we stopped over too and that was incredible - left feeling like a new person :)
Very easy to get to as well with Lancaster Gate and Paddington tube stations nearby - definitely would stay again! X
