We will begin our tour in the center of the city, visiting the temple of Qoricancha and the impressive historical sites. Then, we will take the panoramic bus to the White Christ, from where we will have a spectacular view of Cusco. Later, we will head to the Huayllarcocha lagoon to enjoy a fascinating landscape. Finally, we will learn how to prepare one of the most emblematic drinks of Peru: the Pisco Sour.
We will start the tour at the Plaza de Armas, where we will have a brief guided tour. Then, we will go to the Temple of the Sun, Qoricancha, and continue to the impressive Great Historical Mural, painted by the renowned Cusquenian artist Juan Bravo Vizacarra. Afterwards, we will board our bus and walk through the streets until we reach the White Christ, where we will have time to take pictures. In this stretch, we will see the surprise appearance of characters from the Paucartambo festival, such as the Pablitos and Saqras, and we will be able to enjoy the famous Kukuli dance. Continuing with the tour, we will arrive at the Huayllarcocha lagoon, where we will be captivated by a representation of the abduction of Kukuli. Finally, we will go to a restobar where we will be shown how to prepare the Pisco Sour, and we will conclude with a tasting of this drink before returning to the city of Cusco.
