Itinerary
The tour will begin in the historic center of Cusco, with the Plaza de Armas as the meeting and starting point. Here, the guide will offer an introduction about its history and how it became one of the most iconic and beautiful squares in South America.
From there, the tour will continue along El Sol Avenue toward Qoricancha Temple, the legendary "Golden Enclosure" of the Incas, where you will receive a detailed explanation of its historical and cultural significance. The route then passes by the impressive Grand Historical Mural, a masterpiece by renowned Cusco artist Juan Bravo Vizcarra.
The next stop will be at the Paccha fountain on Av. El Sol, where you will board the Scenic Bus, offering panoramic views of the city as you head toward Cristo Blanco, a privileged lookout point with breathtaking views and perfect photo opportunities of Peru's Historic Capital.
As the Cusco 180 Bus continues, you'll be surprised by the unexpected appearance of traditional characters from the Paucartambo Festival, such as the Majeño, Pablitos, Saqras, and finally Kukuli, whose lively dances you can enjoy comfortably from your seat.
The journey will then lead to Huayllarccocha Lagoon, where the staff will be waiting to present a theatrical reenactment of the Kukuli abduction, while you enjoy a warm local beverage to help ease the Andean chill.
To end this cultural experience, you'll head to a tourist restobar, where a live demonstration of the preparation of the iconic Pisco Sour — Peru's internationally renowned cocktail — will take place. You'll also have the chance to taste it after the presentation.
Finally, you will return to the city of Cusco.
