I had a fab experience today on the bus to the zoo! I’m rubbish with names but I had a lovely couple who were our guides/drivers who were from South Africa. They we lovely, informative and helpful! Pickup was easy and early! On the way there was regular bits of information on Brisbane and general facts on the areas we were passing on route, the guide showed us the glass mountains, he even took a slight de-tour via a different road so we could get a better picture! We were dropped at the animal hospital where we had 10 minutes to have a look around, we were then back on board and checked in To the park, we were given a map and info on the bus on the recommended route of the park to ensure we got the most out of our day! This was super helpful as a solo traveller, we had clear instructions on collection time and overall the experience was super positive, I was going to do it via train but nothing aligned and this was my more expensive option but I am glad I did it as it was easy!
