I bought this eSIM for a trip to Japan, and overall I was very pleased. The setup process was incredibly simple: download the profile, and I had a connection upon arrival. It was significantly cheaper than buying physical SIM cards at the airport or signing up for roaming.
The connection quality was excellent. We traveled extensively throughout the country (to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hakone, Hiroshima, and even Miyajima Island), and the internet was reliably available everywhere, with no speed drops. The plan was convenient. We didn't have to contact customer support because everything worked flawlessly.
One minor drawback: it wasn't immediately clear where or how to check my remaining data allowance. This sometimes made me worry about whether I'd have enough gigabytes to last the trip. Otherwise, it's an ideal, reliable, and affordable way to stay connected while traveling. I recommend it!
