The driver contacted us a day in advance to arrange a time and explained the precautions. He picked us up on time the next day. Chengdu was very hot, and the driver thoughtfully prepared some Huoxiang Zhengqi Water (a traditional Chinese medicine for heatstroke). The parking spot at the Panda Base was very close to the entrance in the morning, and the service was very considerate. However, the Panda Base was too crowded, and the weather was too hot, so the pandas didn't come out. We had lunch in Sanxingdui Town at noon (at our own expense), which was quite good. We arrived at the Sanxingdui parking lot early, and the driver took us to the meeting point and told us to wait in the parking lot when we left. The guided tour of Sanxingdui started at 1:15 pm and lasted until 4 pm. There were more than 20 people in our group, which was a bit too many. We had been there before, and there were only about 10 people in the group. The guide was attentive and patient throughout the tour, and even provided a tablet for auxiliary demonstrations. The explanation was thorough. Overall, the service was good. It's just that there were too many people in the venues, which affected the tour experience.

The driving service was excellent! They arrived on time! The car was clean, and bottled water was provided! They were very attentive, reminding me to be careful when getting out of the car! I would definitely hire a car again next time I'm interested.

The experience was excellent; the bus departed on time, and the 9-seater van was very comfortable. The morning drive was free of traffic, and we arrived at Sanxingdui in just one hour. Our guide, Mr. Du, was very knowledgeable and the itinerary was well-paced. He also shared supplementary images in the group chat for further comprehension. After visiting the first-floor exhibition hall, we had a short break for water and snacks before heading to the second-floor exhibition hall. The whole experience was relaxed and not tiring at all. We were dropped off at Chunxi Road promptly at 3:30 PM. After a rest and lunch, we headed to the airport, just in time for our evening flight.

I visited Sanxingdui on my birthday, which coincidentally is the same year the major discovery was made (1986)! It was an incredible experience. The museum perfectly showcases the mysterious Shu civilization, with its one-of-a-kind bronze figures and captivating gold masks. The artifacts are so different from other ancient Chinese cultures, making you wonder about their origins. A truly unforgettable and mind-blowing place.
