Our tour guide, Julia, was fabulous. She showed us all around Berat and provided cultural and historical background for all of the wonderful things we saw, including the castle and Mangelem. Julia was extremely kind and patient (we ask a lot of questions) and made us feel like family. Don’t miss this tour when you visit Berat!

Bledi is a fantastic guide. He was excellent throughout the day, especially during the guided tour of the upper part of Berat. He speaks English well, clearly and at a good pace, which allowed us to understand almost the entire tour.

There were only three of us, but the city tour still went ahead. Our guide gave us a very informative and friendly account of Gjirokastër's history. We especially enjoyed visiting Zekate House, which we were able to explore at our leisure. After the tour, we had tea on a green terrace overlooking the city. This city tour, away from the tourist crowds, was a wonderful experience.
