Reviews: Great Blasket Island Wildlife Tour with Island Landing

I took the trip back in July. I had some trouble understanding the guides at times, but that was mainly due to the Irish dialect. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the tour. They explained a lot, and we had plenty of free time on Great Blasket Island. Walking around, watching the seals, and simply exploring the island was fantastic. Later, when we sailed on to a smaller island (where we didn't go ashore), we were able to watch puffins on the water, which was one of my highlights. On the way back to Dingle, we saw dolphins, and the boat even stopped so we could get a better look. The tour was fun, and I would definitely recommend it!

Absolutely fantastic experience. Initially our tour was cancelled twice due to poor weather conditions. The company contacted us immediately and rearranged the tour twice. Communication was excellent, very helpful and personal. The tour eventually took place and was well worth the wait. The boat ride itself was so much fun but then we saw loads of seals and so many dolphins. Then to top it all off we saw at least two humpback whales!! It was an incredible experience. Nathan our guide was very knowledgeable and he managed to constantly manoeuvre the boat to ensure that we had the very best chance to see everything. I cannot recommend this tour enough.

Today my husband and I attended the Ring of Kerry tour with Ray as our guide and he was absolutely fantastic- knowledgeable and funny, he often offered to take pictures for guests, and took us to all the beautiful scenes without rushing the group along, so we felt as though we did not miss a single thing. Could not have wished for a better experience, even though it was a bit misty today. Thank you Ray!
