The Wachau Valley beautifully reflects the stunning scenery along the Danube River and the cultural history of Austria and even Europe; Melk, though small, is a very distinctive town and should be considered a representative town of Austria.

Fantastic and well run tour of the countryside. Beautiful scenery, excellent wines, bucolic towns, and a hearty lunch in an adorable village. This is a must do in Vienna to get out into the valley where the wine is made. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the region and wineries. Getting out to see this area on the bike is the best way to see the valley.

We had a ball on this tour and it was a highlight of our trip. It was a fabulous mix of people in the group of 5 and our guide was engaging, generous with his knowledge, time and his local producers. We booked the tour on a Sunday - riding through wine country was the perfect way to spend the day. Highly Recommend.
