Everything was perfect until he took us to the rug and leather coat sale…it really wasn't necessary. The presentation of the craftsmanship was interesting, but the sales pitch was aggressive. Our guide, Ezgi, was very nice!

Our small group tour of Ephesus,Terrace Houses,House of the Virgin Mary and Temple of Artemis was amazing.It was so nice that there were only 4 of us on the tour.We especially enjoyed Ephesus and the Terrace Houses.The house of the Virgin Mary was special to visit also.The Temple of Artemis is underwhelming but glad we included it in the tour. Our guide Cenk Cengiz was very knowledgable and a great guide.Our driver was also very good. We had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and visited a carpet store after the tour.No pressure from Cenk to visit it as he did ask if we wanted to see how the carpets are made.That was interesting but did not really enjoy the sales pitch after the demonstration. We would recommend this tour.

Both driver and guide were excellent. it should have been made clearer what the entrance fees were going to be (paid separately). Also was unable to book for one person so had to pay for 2 to get the excursion. But the guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. i was only interested in the terrace houses as that was the one part of Ephesus I hadn't seen. Driver dropped us off at the lower Ephesus gate. purchased ticket ($52 for Ephesus and Terrace combined). it was a short walk to Terrace houses. Did stop ar the Experience Museum on the way (included with general Ephesus admission). Terrace houses were amazing and guide pointed out many features I would have missed just going in on my own. Lots of stairs, sections with glass floors (not great if you are afraid of heights). No railings to get down staurs after exiting terraces, so guide was very helpful.

We had an amazing tour with a fabulous guide and driver. The lunch was delicious, and the tour itself was both informative and very interesting. It was well-paced, and our guide’s knowledge made the experience even more enjoyable. The stops at the pottery and carpet demonstrations were fascinating and added a special touch to the day. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We would highly recommend this shore excursion to anyone!


