Yesterday's weather was fantastic, and Cape Kamui and Shimabuki were beautiful and photogenic. These two stops were the highlights. We had just the right amount of time at Cape Kamui, but only enough to visit one platform at Shimabuki; I'd suggest allocating more time to that stop. We only had 1.5 hours for the Yoichi Distillery, which was too long for someone who doesn't drink alcohol. Overall, it was a good experience.

It's very practical, but it's a bit of a loss if the railway is operating in winter. Hokkaido has beautiful scenery, but train tickets are too expensive. Using this is more cost-effective if you're visiting multiple places. However, if there's a blizzard and the railway stops, there are no refunds.

Our tour guide was very humorous, telling us about Hokkaido's customs, culture, and tourist attractions along the way. He thoughtfully reminded us of meeting times, and the weather was great. He even told us where to take better photos. I loved it!
