Okanagan Lake

Okanagan Lakeis located in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada, and is a long, narrow freshwater lake stretching over 100 km from north to south. Towns such as Kelowna, Penticton, and Vernon are distributed along the lake. The valley has a warm, dry climate with plenty of sunshine. Vineyards and orchards cover the hillsides along the lake, making this a famous wine region in Canada. The deep blue lake water meets vast orchards and rolling ridges, creating the valley's iconic scenery. The lake area is also home to the Indigenous legend of the Ogopogo, which adds a touch of mystery to these waters. A statue of the lake monster stands in the city park on the Kelowna waterfront, and the Bennett Bridge, which spans the lake, is a rare floating bridge in North America. You can enjoy expansive lake views while walking along the shore or driving across the bridge.Kelowna · 6.3km from downtown

Canada Place is a Vancouver landmark located in downtown Vancouver. Formerly a terminal for the Canadian Pacific Railway, construction began in 1983 and opened in 1986 as the Canadian Pavilion at the Vancouver World Expo. Designed by Eberhard Rudler, the building's distinctive design features five fiberglass sails atop a ship, resembling a sailing ship and bearing similarities to the Sydney Opera House. Within, the complex serves as a major cruise terminal for British Columbia's South Shore, departing from here for cruises to Alaska. As a vibrant tourist destination integrating leisure, experiences, and services, it boasts numerous must-see attractions. "Flyover Canada," Canada's only 4D flight simulator, offers visitors an immersive experience of flying across Canada.Canada · Vancouver

Gastown is located in the northeast corner of downtown Vancouver and is the city's birthplace. The city's development here was closely linked to late 19th-century port trade and railway construction, and the neighborhood retains many historic buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Buildings along the street are mostly brick and stone, with common Victorian Italianate and Edwardian commercial architecture. Facades are typically narrow and tall, with shops often occupying the ground floor. Street paving, cast-iron decorative lamps, brick buildings, and street-facing shop windows together create a recognizable urban view.Canada · Vancouver

Granville Island was once an industrial manufacturing area filled with factories and warehouses. After its transformation, it has become a waterfront district that brings together food, art, and handicrafts. Today, the island is home to numerous artist studios, galleries, theaters, and marinas. The rugged character of the old industrial buildings blends with the vibrant atmosphere of creative shops, and the laid-back pace perfectly reflects the local Vancouver lifestyle. There is a public house on the island serving small-batch craft brews that you can only find here, so if you get tired from walking, why not sit down and savor one. Taking a small ferry from downtown to the island is an interesting experience in itself, as the trip across the water takes just a few minutes.Canada · Vancouver

Chinatown is one of the oldest and largest in Canada, formed in the 1880s when Chinese workers settled in the area, and it has continued for over a century. The main street, Pender Street, is lined with dense, old-style buildings, and walking through it creates the illusion of being in a traditional South China market street. Most buildings in the area are two to four stories high, arranged closely along the street, and interspersed with alleys, back lanes, and internal courtyards. The architecture generally features a blend of Chinese and Western styles, with notable features including deep-recessed balconies, strong vertical lines, high-ceilinged ground floors, and mezzanines.Canada · Vancouver

Johnston Canyon

4.6/5
36 reviews
Johnston Canyonis located along the Bow Valley Parkway between Banff and Lake Louise. It was formed by streams cutting through rock layers over many years. The canyon features steep cliffs and the constant sound of water, with waterfalls being the core highlight of the entire trail. The trail is built along the rock walls, with some sections consisting of catwalks suspended above the canyon, with rushing water right beneath your feet. The path hugs the cliff as it goes deep into the canyon floor, offering a highly distinctive cliff-side walking experience. The trail connects three highlights from near to far: walk approx. 1 km to reach the Lower Falls, where water plunges through a narrow crevice, and the cave viewing point next to the waterfall is a popular photo spot; continue forward to the Upper Falls, which has a larger drop, approx. 2.5 km one-way with a gentle incline, making it easy for most people to complete; if you have enough energy, you can go deeper into the forest meadows to visit the blue-green Ink Pots, approx. 5 km one-way, and you should allow half a day for the round trip. In summer, the canyon is lush and full of water, while in winter, the waterfalls freeze into ice falls and the cliffs are covered in frost. Ice climbers are often seen climbing the ice falls, making this a representative route for ice and snow hiking in the Banff area.Canada · Improvement District No. 9

Lions Gate Bridge spans the First Narrows of Burrard Inlet, connecting downtown Vancouver to North Vancouver and West Vancouver on the North Shore, and has been a landmark gateway to the city since its completion in 1938. A pair of concrete lion statues stand on either side of the southern entrance, echoing the bridge's name. It is approx. 1.5 km long, with three traffic lanes and pedestrian and bicycle paths on both sides. Its simple steel structure, suspension cables, and symmetrical towers create a distinct architectural silhouette that blends with the waters of the First Narrows and the surrounding mountainous environment.Canada · Vancouver

Lake Okinagan is located in Kirona, not far from Vancouver. The lake scenery here is very beautiful, especially in summer, which attracts a large number of tourists. Winter here is not very cold in Canada, and lakes generally do not freeze. Legend has it that water monsters live in the lake. If you have the privilege of taking pictures of water monsters, you can get huge bonuses. Kirona itself is also a city worth visiting and suitable for life. There are many delicious restaurants here. It's worth recommending.

Strolling beneath the white sail-shaped roofs of Canada Place, I felt like I was sailing in the harbor! The five-sail building reflecting the shimmering waters of the bay was so stunning that I couldn't help but snap a dozen photos from different angles. Walking along the wooden walkway, watching seaplanes take off and land and seagulls fight over fries was truly captivating. I also stopped by the FlyOver Canada experience center, where the 4D flight simulator over the snow-capped mountains was incredibly realistic! The evening sun painted the harbor a molten hue. I sat on the steps, munching on ice cream and watching the cruise ships arrive and depart, lost in thought for an hour. My only complaint was the strong wind that tangled my hair—but that's Vancouver's effortless charm, huh?

Gastown has many pretty stores and cafes.but there are lots of homeless wandering around this area. Don’t walk around at late night. When you keep following down the Water street, you can see the steam clock and lots of designer’s stores and beautiful brunch cafes.

I can’t say enough about this gorgeous Island Canada has to offer. Granville Island is a peninsula and shopping center in the Fairview neighbourhood of Vancouver, Canada, across from False Creek.

Vancouver's commercial, cultural, and economic center is full of tall buildings, and the mountain and sea scenery is a plus. The city center is home to Robson Shopping Street, Michelin restaurants, cafes, art galleries, gift shops and other shops. With convenient transportation, it is a must-visit place for sightseeing, leisure and experiencing the vitality of Vancouver.

Cool place to see the chinese community. Might be a bit dangerous to go alone, but the unique buildings are worth it.

It takes 4 hours of hiking to reach the innermost waterfall in the canyon, but if you hike for an hour or two it will also be fine, as you can return by the same route anyway. The scenery is very ordinary and has no special features.

温哥华的狮门大桥开通于 1938 年,将温哥华与北温哥华区的北岸市连接起来。 “狮门”是指温哥华以北的一对山峰。 1939 年,一对浇铸的混凝土狮子被放置在桥南入口的两侧。
