Things to do in Whistler

I spent two days in Whistler, and this time I booked a guesthouse at Lake Placid Lodge through Airbnb. It's located in Creekside, very close to the cable car station, just a few minutes' walk away. There's a supermarket and restaurants downstairs, making it convenient to buy groceries and grab a bite. The apartment was clean and tidy overall, and comfortable to stay in. The kitchen was fully equipped, so cooking my own meals was no problem. The building's facilities were a highlight, with an outdoor heated pool, hot tub, and sauna – perfect for relaxing after a hike. However, being an apartment-style management system, there's no front desk; check-in is entirely self-service, so you need to communicate the access code with the host beforehand. Overall, it was a very hassle-free place to stay, conveniently located, and had everything you needed. It's suitable for people who don't want to stay in a noisy village but still want convenient transportation. I'd probably consider staying here again next time I'm in Whistler.

I drove along the Sea-to-Sky Highway last week, and the scenery was absolutely stunning, with the sea and sky blending seamlessly together. The road surface was smooth, there was little traffic, making for a comfortable drive. The parking spots were well-designed, making it easy to get out and take photos without having to risk parking on the roadside. Overall, the cost was low, making it excellent value for money.

Really really awesome and beautiful views that I will never forget. There are some hikes, but overall good experience.

This park was one of the original venues for the Olympic Games. It still retains a large number of sports venues and facilities, which are open to the public free of charge.

It's truly a world-class ski resort. I visited it 3 years ago and I want to go again.

Whistler Village, home to Whistler Village Centre (also known as Whistler Village Suites), is a popular tourist destination offering sightseeing, shopping, dining, clothing, accessories, and souvenirs. It's most famous for the five Olympic rings from the 2010 Winter Olympics. It's a great place to take a photo of them—a truly memorable experience! 👍 You can also find a wide selection of clothing, such as Roots, Lululemon, and various other souvenirs. One incredibly popular ice cream shop is Cows Ice Cream 🍦 🍨. The long line immediately caught our attention. 🤣 There's a cute cow at the entrance, along with a list of popular ice cream flavors for those waiting in line to choose from.
