Jinci Temple was founded during the Zhizheng era of Emperor Huizong of the Yuan Dynasty and was renovated three times during the Jiajing, Longqing, and Wanli eras of the Ming Dynasty. Existing structures include the Main Hall,Offering Pavilion, stage,Bell and Drum Tower, and side halls. Several stone tablets are preserved within the temple, the earliest of which was engraved in the 17th year of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty. The temple faces south and covers an area of 1,374 square meters. Along the central axis are the Main Hall, Offering Hall, and stage, with theBell and Drum Towerand side halls on either side; the rest were built during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Main Hall, known as the Zhaoji Holy Mother Hall, was built in the 3rd year of the Zhizheng era of the Yuan Dynasty (1343 AD). It spans three bays in width and four rafters in depth, with a front corridor and a gabled roof. The Offering Hall is square in plan with a single-eave hip-and-gable roof. The stage was built in the 13th year of the Daoguang era of Emperor Xuanzong of the Qing Dynasty and has a building area of 80 square meters.

Wang Family Compound - Confucian Temple (Zhongxin Road), located in Jingshengzhen, Lingshi County, Shanxi, was built during the Yuan Dynasty. Construction began in the third year of the Zhishun era and was completed four years later in the second year of the Zhiyuan era. After multiple renovations, the existing structures date back to the Yuan and Ming dynasties. The temple faces south and features a two-courtyard layout. Along the central axis stand the Ji Gate and the Dacheng Hall, while the Kuixing Pavilion and side halls are located on the flanks, covering an area of 2,237 square meters. The temple features exquisite carvings, with the double-sided openwork stone screen "Carp Leaping Over the Dragon Gate" being particularly eye-catching. The Dragon Gate is majestic, with rolling waves and two dragons dancing and leaping; their heads are visible while their tails are hidden, and their scales and claws appear amidst the clouds, with one dragon opening its mouth to spout water. The entire scene is dynamic and bold. Jingsheng Confucian Temple served as a school where many studied and embarked on official careers, making this screen wall very popular.

Zishou Temple was originally built in the 11th year of Emperor Yizong's Xiantong era in the Tang Dynasty (870 AD). Through expansions and renovations during the Song, Yuan, and Ming dynasties, it gradually developed into its current scale. The temple faces south and is built against a mountain, covering an area of 17,000 square meters with three courtyards and a total of 17 halls. In 1986, it was included in the "Dictionary of Chinese Scenic Spots," and in 2001, it was designated as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council. The temple is renowned for its "three treasures": colored sculptures, murals, and caisson ceilings, and gained international fame when the 18 arhat heads were lost and later recovered.

The Wang Family Compound, with its centuries-old history and grand scale, is often referred to as the "Folk Palace," bearing witness to the achievements of the Wang family. The currently open area represents only a small portion, yet it is still awe-inspiring!
