Liujiang Ancient Town is located on both sides of Liujiang River, a tributary of Huaxi River. It was founded in the Southern Song Dynasty. The Zeng Family Courtyard is worth a visit. It is a famous large-scale courtyard in the ancient town. The whole courtyard is like a traditional Chinese character for longevity. There is a strange tree in the courtyard, and the tree is covered with slender and slender fruits like cowpeas. No one in the area knows its name or its origin. When visiting the ancient town, you can slowly taste the unique charm of the ancient town and experience the rhythm of slow life. Qingshen Zhongyan, a temple built in the Tang Dynasty, is one of the Buddhist temple jungles in southern Sichuan. Zhongyan belongs to the Longquan Mountains, and the higher part is Cimuyan, which is 616 meters above sea level. Zhongyan is famous for its beautiful landscapes and beautiful forests, and there is a saying that "the best place for forests and springs in West Sichuan". Legend has it that it was the fifth Rohan Nuo-na dojo of the founder of the mountain. The three temples in Zhongyan have their own characteristics. The lower temple is close to the Minjiang River, and the rock gully is quiet. About half a mile into the mountain, you will arrive at Huoyu Pond, which is said to be the cave house of Cimulong, and the fish came out to hear the applause. The three characters "Calling Fish Pond" on the rock were written by Su Dongpo, a great writer of the Song Dynasty, when he married Wang Fu. The Middle Temple is on a steep slope, and there are dense Buddhist shrines in the nearby rocks, and there are many stone statues carved. Going up, you will reach the overlying rock where Huang Tingjian inscribed "Yuquan". From Yuquanyan to Shuanglong Bridge, it is a good place to view the inscription of Zhongyan, overlook Emei, and overlook the Minjiang River.Qingshen · 7.9km from downtown

It was raining this time, so I chose route B up and A down, and I successfully got the medal, which made me very happy. Route B was a bit tough; it was definitely challenging. Here's a little tip: when you hear the Plants vs. Zombies music, route B is almost over. Wait until you hear Wai-bi-ba-bu's voice again and see the sign, then you've successfully reached the top. Route A is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately, it was raining this time, and it was all foggy.

It's a small park themed around the Three Su's (Su Shi, Su Zhe, and Su Xun). If you're interested in calligraphy and paintings, you can spend more time there; otherwise, you can finish quickly. There's not much scenery.

Pengzu Mountain, located in Pengshan District, Meishan City, is a 4A scenic area known as the "Number One Mountain of Chinese Health and Wellness Culture." The mountain is not very high, and the 999-step Longevity Ladder has a gentle slope, making it easy for people of all ages to climb. The main attractions are the Qishan Twin Buddhas, stone carvings from the Kaiyuan era of the Tang Dynasty, more than 70 years older than the Leshan Giant Buddha; there are also cultural sites such as the Pengzu Temple, Pengzu Tomb, and a Qi-gathering field. The Wangjiang Tower at the summit offers panoramic views of the Minjiang River. It is easily accessible by car, with ample parking. Disadvantages: Most of the buildings are later reconstructions, with few original ancient relics; there are many health and wellness-related consumer services within the scenic area; those simply looking for magnificent natural scenery may find the views rather ordinary.

Misty rain and fog create a picturesque scene, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. Although located in western Sichuan, the town boasts verdant mountains and clear waters, with a charm that rivals that of Jiangnan – Liujiang Ancient Town. 👣👣 Stroll through Liujiang Ancient Town in the early morning, starting with a bowl of steaming hot tofu pudding to warm your stomach, followed by some local delicacies (cold noodles, guokui, and ye'erba) to enhance the experience. Walk to the [Ancient Suspension Bridge]. In the early morning, the bridge is shrouded in mist, appearing and disappearing in the morning light, like a flowing ink painting. In the evening, as the lights come on, the bridge and the surrounding stilted houses create a beautiful and atmospheric scene. 📷📷 Then stroll along Liujiang's stone-paved streets and wander through the misty alleys. You'll see many people sitting under the shade of the [Millennial Banyan Tree], drinking tea and relaxing. 😳😳 You can join them! ✌️✌️ Experience the tranquility and rustic charm – a perfect place to experience a slower pace of life. Visit the Zeng Family Mansion in Liujiang to learn about the life of a wealthy family in the late Qing Dynasty. This manor is truly remarkable; the courtyard, viewed from above, forms the traditional Chinese character for "longevity," subtly reflecting the Chinese wish for long life—a truly unique and impressive sight! It's also a living history book: built between 1927 and 1937, it belonged to the capable Zeng Yicheng. A local saying, "The Zeng family's house, the Yang family's roof, the Zhang family's maids, the He family's grain," aptly illustrates its former prominence. Finally, head to the Tiaodeng Bridge in Liujiang Ancient Town. The bridge is paved with irregularly shaped stone slabs, allowing visitors to experience the fun of jumping across it at varying speeds, feeling the primitive and vibrant way the townspeople "jump across" the river. Due to the slippery surface, it's recommended to wear non-slip shoes. Strolling on the bridge in the morning mist or at sunset offers a unique and poetic experience. 📷📷 👣👣At noon, head to the heart of the ancient town to sample the intangible cultural heritage of rattan pepper duck. We recommend [Qiu Ji Rattan Pepper Duck], a long-established brand with authentic flavors and affordable prices. They even offer free vacuum packaging, perfect for packing as souvenirs for family and friends. If you'd like some Sichuan cuisine, we recommend [Daohuaxiang Local Cuisine Restaurant]. Their dishes, such as the mint-flavored fish and Buddha's hand eggplant, are made with fresh ingredients and generous portions. For hot pot, we recommend [Liuhuwan Stone Pot Fish Restaurant]. Their yellow catfish and secret-recipe hot pot fish are freshly killed and cooked, resulting in tender, flavorful, and spicy dishes. Enjoy delicious food and soak in the lively atmosphere of the ancient town. 😛😛 👣👣In the afternoon, take a scenic hike to view the ancient town. Take a taxi directly to [Liujiang Yuping Mountain Glass Viewing Platform] for a panoramic view. The glass walkway is built on a cliff with a drop of approximately 350 meters, making you feel as if you're suspended above an abyss. Standing on the viewing platform, you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of Liujiang Ancient Town, Huaxi Ancient Town, and the surrounding pastoral scenery. The area offers various outdoor activities such as forest ziplining, treetop walks, and rainbow slides, allowing you to experience the romantic mountain atmosphere of "walking through a painting." 📷📷 👍👍If time permits, you can also visit the [Hongya Liujiang Ancient Town Yuping Mountain Paragliding Base] for a thrilling paragliding experience. Visitors can be guided or receive professional training, enjoying a bird's-eye view of the entire ancient town and experiencing the thrill of soaring through the sky, a close interaction with the heavens. 📷📷 Besides flying, the base also offers camping and barbecue services, allowing you to grill meat and crayfish on the viewing platform while watching others soar.

I'd been there before and had a great impression. This time, on my second day in Chengdu, I chose Huanglongxi Ancient Town. Previously, I'd taken a bus from the Xin Nanmen Bus Station, but when I got there, they said the bus service had been cancelled. Not wanting to take the subway and transfer, I called a ride-hailing service. We encountered road construction and were stuck in traffic for almost an hour before finally being driven directly to the entrance of the ancient town. The fare was about 60-70 yuan. The ancient town wasn't as lively as before, and there weren't many tourists. After wandering around for a while, I felt it wasn't very interesting. I found a teahouse and had some very pleasant tea. The weather was neither too hot nor too cold, and the sunlight filtering through the leaves occasionally felt nice on my face. I checked the transportation back; it was either a long walk to the bus station to take a bus to the nearest subway station, Huilong, or I had to call a taxi. I hadn't expected the transportation to be so inconvenient, so I decided to call a taxi directly to Chunxi Road for some delicious food.

This stay was fantastic! The room was tastefully decorated with a sophisticated color scheme and a great atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable, the bedding was clean and fluffy, and the room was spacious with multiple beds, making it perfect for families. The city skyline view from the window at night was incredibly immersive. Overall, the room was clean, quiet, and provided a great rest. It was excellent value for money and I highly recommend it!

I arrived at Ya'nv Lake at the foot of Wawu Mountain in early September, just in time to avoid the summer peak season. The lake area was surprisingly quiet and peaceful with few tourists. The daytime sunshine was bright and clear; the mountains had already shed their summer heat in September, and a gentle breeze made it incredibly comfortable. The high-altitude lake had crystal-clear water, with the distant Wawu Mountain silhouetted clearly. Sunlight shimmered on the lake's surface, creating a beautiful reflection of the mountains and water, offering expansive views. Whether driving slowly along the road or stopping at the viewing platform to enjoy the fresh air and the fragrance of nature, there was no need to fight for a good photo spot; every snapshot was a clean and soothing picture of nature. The scenic area is free to enter and not overly commercialized, making it perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. Without the hustle and bustle of peak season, there was a tranquil and leisurely atmosphere amidst the mountains and water. Whether it's a short stop to take photos or staying overnight to watch the sunset and sunrise, it's a great place for a short, relaxing vacation. Traveling off-peak provides a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it to those who appreciate quiet, natural scenery.

I have always heard about this reservoir and thought that it was only for the farmhouses next to the reservoir. It turned out to be a place for hiking and swimming. You can drive to the entrance of the scenic area, and there are many restaurants that can park for 20 yuan. There are fried small fish on the roadside (20.30 yuan, taste good but a little fishy), and smoked fish (100 yuan per catty, I didn’t buy it because I thought it was too expensive) If you want to go to the mountain, you need to take a boat (you can only go there by boat)! We went during the Chinese New Year. There were no big boats, only small boats pulled by manpower, and the round trip was 20 yuan per person. There were really a lot of people and we lined up for more than an hour. When you get to the island opposite, there will be people soliciting customers. You can choose to walk, motorcycle, or wild boar. Because we went up late, we took a wild boar (the van was really scary when I think about it now) and went directly to the temple on the top of the mountain for 60 yuan. There were only two of us at the time, so it would be cheaper if we could share with others. There is a white pagoda on the top of the mountain, and there is also a temple where you can burn incense. Baoen Temple is on the mountainside, and we met a driver halfway who took us there for 20 yuan. Inside Baoen Temple is the God of Wealth Temple. Going further inside, you can ask for divination. Asking for divination is to rejoice in the merits, and then take your number to the circulation office to exchange for divination paper (2 yuan per piece). The master said that there are no monkeys to see on this mountain. It costs 80 yuan per person to see the monkey island, and a private boat will take you there. In the end, we didn't go, but I heard that the monkeys there like to eat jelly. If you go, you can prepare in advance. Overall, it's good, climb the mountain, blow the wind, and burn incense. It's suitable for family to go together.
