Xilin Gol Prairie is located in Xilinhot League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is one of the world-famous prairie and the main natural grassland of Inner Mongolia Prairie, the four major grasslands in my country. Xilin Gol Prairie not only has beautiful grassland natural scenery, but also simple Mongolian style, numerous cultural relics, long history and culture and pleasant summer climate, attracting many tourists who come to enjoy the scenery. Here there is not only the magnificent beauty of endless, empty and deep space, but also the dynamic beauty of the wind blowing grass and low sight of cattle and sheep, as well as the harmonious beauty of blue sky and white clouds, green grass, shepherds riding horses and nature. The flowery grassland reproduces the beauty of "the wind blows the grass and the cows and sheep are low", and the Xilin River in Jiuqu Eighteen Bay is like a white Hada floating on the grassland, which makes people linger. In addition, the must-see when you come to Xilin Gol is the mutton here. The forage that the sheep often eat here contains a Chinese herbal medicine called scallion. They drink natural stream water and are pure green food. Therefore, the meat is delicious, not greasy, not tainted, and full of color and fragrance.Xilinhot · 63.8km from downtown

Beizi Temple, the Chinese name of Beizi Temple is "Chongshan Temple", located at the southern slope of Erdun Taoligai Aobao Mountain in the north of Xilinhot City. An important Tibetan Buddhist temple, it is also a must-see for tourists who come to Xilinhot. The temple was named after the local Beizi Balaji Dorji who presided over the construction of the temple, and it was built in Beiziqi. Beizi Temple is a holy place of Tibetan Buddhism. Its scale has always been known as the largest temple in the Xilin Gol League area. The water plants around Beizi Temple are fertile and the scenery is beautiful. The holy Xilin River flows slowly from south to north to the west of Beizi Temple, and now it is flanked by the bustling urban area. The Beizi Temple is not large in size and consists of the main temple, subordinate temples, family temples, pagodas and many monks' rooms. The entire building complex is divided into seven halls, namely Chaokaqin, Mingqian, Queri, Zhuduba, Ganyur, Dingkel, Eritetu, etc. In addition to these seven halls, there are more than a dozen other halls. A small hall and more than 2,000 monasteries. There is a red pagoda and five white pagodas around the whole temple, among which the red pagoda was built to suppress evil. In the more than 100 years after the temple was built, it has become the main place of worship for the surrounding Mongolian herdsmen, and the incense is very prosperous. There are a large number of murals reflecting the history and life of the Mongolian nation in the temple. There are a large number of picture sculptures, clay sculptures and Buddha statues mainly composed of Sakyamuni Buddha statues. Most of them are bronze Buddha statues, and there are many pure gold and silver Buddha statues. In addition, the many bags on Guo Aobao are very Mongolian and are worth playing together.Xilinhot · 2.1km from downtown

Baiyin Xile is the main area of the Xilin Gol grassland nature reserve, located in the eastern part of the Hunshandake Sandy Land. It features hilly terrain, with the Xilin River and its tributaries running through the area. The region is home to natural secondary forest belts, lake clusters, and meadow grasslands. Among them, Zhagesitai Lake covers an area of 1.68 km² and is used for breeding carp, crucian carp, and the unique "three-scale" fish. The core area of the aspen-birch forest spans over 60 km², forming a typical example of the forest-grassland transition zone. The reserve preserves rare vegetation such as sandy land spruce forests, with Shaoyao Gully and Huanghua Gully known for their wild peonies and Baikal needlegrass communities, respectively.Xilinhot · 68.9km from downtown

Mulan Paddock

The Mulan Hunting Grounds have been a lush grassland since ancient times, and its fame today is primarily due to the Qing Dynasty emperors and the numerous "braid dramas" (dramas featuring emperors with queues). Emperor Kangxi would go to the Mulan Hunting Grounds almost every year after the beginning of autumn to participate in the autumn hunt. Yu Qiuyu, in his book "Fifteen Years of Departure," believes that the Kangxi-Qianlong era of prosperity began with the emperor's robust health and spirit. The TV series "Scarlet Heart" also depicts Kangxi's hunting trips beyond the Great Wall. The TV series "Princess Pearl," set against the backdrop of Emperor Qianlong's reign, was even filmed at the Mulan Hunting Grounds. We've seen countless scenes of Qing emperors hunting in novels and TV dramas, and may only have a general understanding of the location of "Mulan Hunting Grounds"—north of Chengde, in the ancient "frontier region." Today, the Mulan Hunting Grounds actually cover a very large area. Heading northwest from Weichang Manchu and Mongolian Autonomous County (hereinafter referred to as Weichang County) in Chengde City, the area bordering Hebei Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region all belong to "Mulan Hunting Grounds." The Mulan Hunting Grounds mainly include four attraction : Saihanba National Forest Park, Yudao Kou Grassland Forest scenic area , and Hongsongwa Nature Reserve in Hebei Province, and Ulanbutong Grassland in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The four major attraction are roughly located as follows: Saihanba is in the middle, Yudaokou is southwest of Saihanba, Hongsongwa is northeast of Saihanba, and Wulanbutong Grassland is northwest of Saihanba. For visitors from the south, Weichang County, the starting point for visiting Mulan Weichang, is southeast of Saihanba. The attraction are quite far apart, and each attraction is large, containing many smaller attractions. Therefore, visiting Mulan Weichang requires private charter or driving yourself. The most beautiful scenery isn't necessarily within the attraction, but often along the road. Driving across the vast grasslands, you'll pass lakes, rivers, birch forests, occasionally glimpses of desert, vast fields of wildflowers, and herds of horses. You can park your car wherever you like, offering complete freedom. If private charter, choose an off-road vehicle, as the grasslands have steep slopes, potholes that can easily cause vehicles to overturn, and some areas require wading through water. The reference price is 600-700 yuan per day, which may rise to 1000 yuan per day during peak tourist peak season. The scenery here changes with the seasons. Mid-June to late September is the most beautiful time to visit Mulan Weichang, with summer for flower viewing and autumn for fall foliage. From early June to mid-August, wolfsbane flowers bloom; from late July to early August, rapeseed flowers bloom; from early July to late August, golden lotus flowers bloom; and from late August to early September, sunflowers bloom. From early to late September, the weather cools, but you can still enjoy the picturesque autumn scenery. The ever-present sunsets and stars hold back every traveler's hurried steps. Stay at least one night here, just to witness the sunsets on the grasslands and the countless stars at night. It's about 20 kilometers from the entrance to Saihanba National Forest Park.Mechanical Forest FarmUlanbutong GrasslandHongshan Military Horse FarmAccommodation is available, but conditions are limited. Even some hotels that claim to have good facilities only offer hot water for limited hours. Near the accommodations, there are usually shops selling traditional grassland food, with lamb being particularly delicious. Besides the vast grasslands, numerous rivers and lakes, and boundless forests, horseback riding is also a highlight. With the guidance of the horsemen, most visitors can probably only manage to make the horse trot, but it's still very exciting and fun. First-time visitors to Mulan Weichang may find it difficult to choose due to its vastness and numerous attractions—it's all grassland, so which area should I visit? Here are some recommended and fun spots. Saihanba National Forest Park: Qixing Lake in the attraction is a place that almost every visitors who goes to Saihanba National Forest Park will visit. It consists of seven small lakes that form a large wetland. A boardwalk has been built on the lake. Its original name was Huopaozi ("paozi" refers to a small lake formed naturally by groundwater seeping out of the grassland). It was here that Emperor Kangxi burned Galdan's grain and fodder. Yudao Kou Grassland Forest scenic area: Taoxian Lake is the most beautiful place in Yudao Kou. There is a small mountain shaped like a fairy peach on the south side of the lake. Hongsongwa Nature Reserve: The attraction is located deep in the grassland and is not frequented by many visitors. The wind turbines of the Datang Wind Power Station on the grassland are a highlight. Ulan Butong Grassland: General's Pond is a landmark attraction in Ulan Butong, famous for the Battle of Ulan Butong between Emperor Kangxi and Galdan in history. As a visitors attraction in Ulan Butong Grassland, it has relatively rich tourist facilities, but the original tranquility has been destroyed by the large number of visitors. It can be said that it is an attraction whose significance outweighs its value.BeigouIt's a worthwhile tourist attraction. As a grazing area on the Ulan Butong Grassland, the beautiful scene of "cattle and sheep appearing as the wind blows the grass low" can only be seen here, and it's also perfect for sunset photography. Ulan Butong also offers a fun paragliding experience, allowing you to enjoy a panoramic view of Ulan Butong from the air.China · Weichang

I hadn't done any research beforehand; I just figured I'd give it a try since I was already there. I was pleasantly surprised! The performance was grand, spectacular, and breathtaking. I saw the most magnificent herd of horses and the coolest equestrian skills, and experienced the customs and traditions of the Mongolian people. There was even a close-up interaction with the horses and performers at the end. I was extremely satisfied, and even regretted not buying the most expensive tickets for the front row, the most central area.

The scenery here is truly stunning. The endless grasslands are matched by the blue sky, and the grasslands are full of sheep and cattle. Having a bonfire party at night, eating roasted whole lamb, and drinking kumis is such a treat, all the worries and unhappiness are gone with the wind! The food and accommodation here are also very affordable!

Beizi Temple in Xilinhot. This Tibetan Buddhist temple, built in 1743, has been intensively repaired by seven generations of living Buddhas and is large in scale. Stepping into the temple gate, the carved beams and painted buildings, the multi-story buildings and pavilions are amazing, and the rich Buddhist atmosphere hits you. The murals in the temple are exquisite and vividly tell the history and culture of the Mongolian nation. I slowly walked up the steps and came to the Erdun Aobao behind the temple. The thirteen Aobao are solemn and solemn, carrying people's good wishes. Standing on Aobao Mountain and looking down, Beizi Temple and Xilinhot City complement each other, forming a unique picture scroll, which made me deeply feel the charm of the fusion of history and modernity.

Hongshan Museum and Hongshan Park are adjacent to each other, the origin of the city's name Chifeng, and also a landmark scenic spot. It's best to visit in the afternoon, as the setting sun casts a vibrant red glow on the mountains, making for stunning photos. The museum displays artifacts unearthed from the ancient Hongshan Culture, the most famous being the jade dragon, a symbol of Chifeng. The original is currently housed in the National Museum of China, but here it's shown as a 3D projection. The park is now a public park for Chifeng residents, where many people spend holidays.

Autumn in Yudaokou is like nature overturning its palette. Golden leaves, fiery red maple leaves, and emerald green pines and cypresses interweave into a brilliant and colorful painting.

The scenery is particularly great. I caught up with the most beautiful time of the Colorful Forest. Off-road is also highly recommended. When playing the package project, the order was messed up. The staff arranged to take the sightseeing bus again for free, which is very humane.
