Highlights: Bow Falls is one of the beauties of Banff, a well-known tourist city in Canada. The Bow River is a long river flowing through Banff National Park. The scenic spots here are beautiful and its name has two origins. One is that the river flows from west to north along the mountains north of Banff, forming a bow shape. It is due to the dwarf pine trees that the Indians used to make bows and arrows growing along the river banks. Bow River Falls is world-famous because of the filming of the movie "The Great River Goes East" starring Marilyn Monroe in the 1950s.
