travelwithperuReasons to Recommend: The Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress is truly one of a kind and, in my opinion, an absolute must-visit in Sri Lanka. The combination of its stunning architecture, breathtaking views, and incredible history makes it a truly remarkable site. It’s fascinating to think that such a magnificent monument was built centuries ago and still stands strong for us to witness today. The climb takes around an hour, and though it can be a bit tiring, every step is completely worth it. The panoramic view from the top and the sense of walking through ancient history make the entire experience unforgettable. Sigiriya is a masterpiece that perfectly captures the brilliance of Sri Lanka’s ancient civilization.

Tania Akter (Sumi)Sri Dalada Maligawa, or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, is a must-visit spiritual and cultural landmark in Kandy. The temple’s stunning architecture, intricate carvings, and serene atmosphere create a truly divine experience. The daily rituals and historical significance of the sacred tooth relic add to its charm. However, it can get quite crowded, especially during ceremonies. Dress modestly and be prepared for security.

虎公公It's definitely worth the trip. The natural scenery is stunning, and the pristine feeling is fantastic! I was in high spirits after the 10-kilometer walk. Although a little tired, I was very happy. The misty mountains, gravel roads, rushing waterfalls, and clear streams along the way were all incredibly beautiful. I felt like I had completed another challenge for myself. (The photos were taken with my phone, no filters at all)

Tania Akter (Sumi)Kandy Lake, nestled in the heart of Kandy, Sri Lanka, is a serene and picturesque destination perfect for a leisurely stroll. Surrounded by lush greenery and historic sites, the lake offers breathtaking views, especially at sunrise and sunset. The peaceful atmosphere, diverse birdlife, and charming lakeside benches make it an ideal spot to relax. While the walk around the lake is pleasant, occasional traffic noise can be a minor drawback. Overall, it’s a must-visit for nature lovers.

MtngWhile Dambulla Cave Temple has historical significance and some impressive Buddha statues, it didn’t feel particularly remarkable. The cave interiors are interesting, but compared to other cultural sites in Sri Lanka, it may not stand out. It’s an okay visit if you’re in the area, but not a must-see.

赶景From the Kandy train, you can really feel the magic experience from midsummer to late autumn. After the train leaves, the temperature gradually drops, and the tea garden along the way is pleasing to the eye. The train is very clean, the passengers are mainly locals, the carriage is very quiet, there are small businesses selling local snacks from time to time, the taste is actually good, the price is only 1, 2 yuan. The whole city is also very clean, and the homestay is very comfortable, that is, it is too cold at night, and I can't feel it in the country near the equator. It is recommended to play.
