M29***63The scenery at the scenic spot was nice, but the management was a bit poor. We even encountered a boatmen's strike, and I rowed 7 kilometers by myself, almost to death. The scenic spot wouldn't refund the price difference between the classic rafting and the free rafting.

Anonymous userIt was spectacular! We were lucky to arrive during the rainy season, so the water level was just right and there weren't many people. The whole tour, including sightseeing and taking photos, took about two hours. There were quite a few stairs to climb, but the design was good – many steps down, and the steps up were relatively gentle (no backtracking). The only problem was that on the way back, to reach the bus stop, if you didn't take the shuttle bus to the parking lot, you still had to walk uphill for about twenty minutes. It was hot, and after spending over two hours in the scenic area, we were exhausted. Then we walked up a winding mountain road (a big slope), and by the time we reached the parking lot, we were completely red from the heat… We even saw a dead snake on the way, which was a bit scary. After that, we didn't dare walk near the roadside bushes; we almost wanted to walk in the middle of the road.

Their vibrant colors make them a true marvel. Regarding the non-driving journey from Chongzuo to Huashan Rock Paintings: We bought bus tickets on Ctrip for 35 RMB per person. The bus departed from Chongzuo International Distribution Center (not the one near the South Station) at 7:50 AM. Perhaps due to fewer people, they used 11-seater buses, and it took about 40 minutes to reach the visitor center. We had plenty of time, just in time to catch the first boat, but we chose to spend some time at the visitor center, exploring the exhibition halls and the surrounding environment, which was very beautiful. We also enjoyed Zhuang ethnic song and dance performances and a Tianqin (a traditional stringed instrument) performance in front of the boat, all free of charge. The rock paintings themselves are free, but you need to take a boat to see them, which costs 90 RMB per person. We chose the 10:30 AM boat, and the scenic area provides shuttle service to the pier. The round trip takes 2 hours, with 1 hour spent viewing the paintings (there is a guide on board who leads the tour and provides explanations along the way). After returning from the boat at 1:30, I learned that there is a bullet train from Ningming East to Chongzuo at 15:47, which costs 10 yuan for 10 minutes. The scenic area also has a free shuttle bus to Ningming East at 14:30 (about 30 minutes). There are enough buffer times at each time, which is suitable for leisurely strolling around.

M40***66There were very few people. I saw some students observing and recording the white-headed langurs, which felt a bit like an educational trip. The entire scenic area is on foot, but there are some winding paths through sugarcane fields with little shade, so it can get quite sunny on hot days. If you just want to see the monkeys, you can wait at the ticket office. When the monkeys come out, staff will take you there in electric carts. The staff at the scenic area are very attentive to whether you see the monkeys. When I tried to go in for a walk, they repeatedly reminded me that I might not see them if I went in now, that my ticket was non-refundable, and that if I didn't see them, I could come back and wait… Also, the timing of the monkey viewing is very important. Around 11 am and 3 or 4 pm are good times to see them. They rest for a long time in between, so you won't be able to see them. I was lucky enough to see the monkeys from Thumb Mountain come down to the fields to eat sweet potato leaves. The alpha male led a large group of his wives and children. Everyone held their breath watching them eat in the field. The little monkeys were so cute!
4.5/5Anonymous userBasically, no one goes beyond the first viewing platform. I think the second platform is a bit of a walk, but I anticipate a great view! The first picture is of the first viewing platform, and the second was taken from a dead end on the way up, which I thought was the second platform... I recommend climbing to the viewing platform first, then coming down will take you across the stone arch bridge to the best spot for photos, where the two swans are located.

伍来探店达人I've always known Guangxi's landscapes were beautiful, but I never imagined it could be this stunning. I took my kids on a road trip to Guangxi over the weekend, and along the way, I was amazed at how delicious the food was. West of Guangxi, Baise and Jingxi. After leaving Chongzuo, we headed to Jingxi. The attractions we visited this time were all off-the-beaten-path and free. Highly recommended.

M44***56The hot spring resort is quite large with a pleasant environment. The hot spring water temperature is around 35 degrees Celsius. There are several soaking pools near the entrance, and a swimming pool in the middle, so the water temperature isn't too cold. Further inside are tiered pools, which are great for taking photos. Only a few pools are a bit too hot for soaking. Overall, it's a good place to enjoy both hot springs and scenery.
