CreatewithagnezA nice place to see Guilin from top! I personally think the cable car ride was nice but there is not much stuff to do at the top. Only 1 coffee shop and 1 mini restaurant. I wish they have more things for people to see and experience. The abandoned building at the top definitely can be used for something better for tourists.

The receptionist, Xiao Li, was incredibly attentive, providing meticulous guidance from check-in to travel itinerary reminders. It's about a 20-minute walk from the hotel to the mountaintop, perfect for watching the sunset. The crimson sun, the deep blue peaks, the silvery sea of clouds, and even the playful children – everything was just right. As dusk deepened, we descended the mountain and returned to the hotel for a steaming pot of chicken hotpot, which was incredibly satisfying.

My only complaint is that the moon-shaped shuttle bus is charged by the minute at 2.2 yuan per minute, with a minimum rental of half an hour; you can't buy it outright. It would be better if they offered a buy-out price, since you can't leave for more than a few hours once you're inside.
