M27***41The sudden autumn break caught the scenic area off guard. We didn't pay much attention to the scenery, but the family hike was a lot of fun. After finishing all the activities, we went to the prize collection area only to find that all the medals had been given out, so they could only be mailed home. We hiked up the mountain and took two cable cars down.

M22***70Lao Emei Mountain is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction located in Zhangchang Town, Danling County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province. It has a subtropical monsoon climate and covers an area of 11.8 square kilometers. It is the main peak of the Zonggang Mountain Range with an altitude of 1142 meters [7]. The opening hours are from 07:00 to 19:00 every day [6]. The mountain stands out abruptly on the southwestern edge of the Chengdu Plain. It was originally named Lao Emei Mountain and is a sister mountain of Emei Mountain. The mountain shape is very similar to Emei Mountain. The forest area covers 13,000 mu. It can be reached by the Chengdu-Leshan Expressway, Chengdu-Ya'an Expressway and Suining-Ziyang-Meishan Expressway. Famous scenic spots and historical sites in the mountain, such as the Golden Summit, Sheshan Cliff, and Jiulao Cave, are all named after Emei Mountain. Temples were first built in the Sui Dynasty. Buddhism and Taoism coexisted in the Tang and Song Dynasties. Su Dongpo once left the inscription "Lao Emei Mountain" here, and historical figures such as Peng Duanshu left poems. The existing temples were first built in the Han Dynasty. At its peak, there were 48 temples and 36 nunneries with thousands of monks. The annual pilgrimage fair, which has a history of 1,600 years, is held on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month.[7] The scenic area charges 40 yuan per person for admission. From May to December 31, 2025, the scenic area will participate in the mutual exemption of admission tickets between Sichuan and Chongqing (excluding the Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day holidays).[6][8] Local specialties include frozen rice cakes, peanut roasted chicken, and Yunwu Maofeng tea. Starting in 2024, a series of cultural and tourism activities will be launched based on the summer resort IP, including hiking challenges and parent-child adventures.[9] The tourism poverty alleviation and quality improvement project will continue to be promoted.

Anonymous userIt is a treasure trove of scenic spots with a very profound historical and cultural heritage. The poems of Li Bai, Fan Chengda and others, the love story of Dongpo and Wang Fu, the continuous cliff carvings, and the magical legends of the two Zen masters are all fascinating. The scenery along the way is pleasant and very cool.

最美不过蓝天Yanu Lake is very beautiful and peaceful. It is very cool to come here to escape the heat in summer. There are many farmhouses to stay here. Three meals a day are less than 100 yuan. You can go boating when you have nothing to do, or drive to Wawu Mountain by yourself. It is very suitable for bringing children and the elderly to play together in summer vacation. The blue sky and white clouds complement each other, and the sparkling lake water is very pleasant.

爱喝阔乐的青蛙I have always heard about this reservoir and thought that it was only for the farmhouses next to the reservoir. It turned out to be a place for hiking and swimming. You can drive to the entrance of the scenic area, and there are many restaurants that can park for 20 yuan. There are fried small fish on the roadside (20.30 yuan, taste good but a little fishy), and smoked fish (100 yuan per catty, I didn’t buy it because I thought it was too expensive) If you want to go to the mountain, you need to take a boat (you can only go there by boat)! We went during the Chinese New Year. There were no big boats, only small boats pulled by manpower, and the round trip was 20 yuan per person. There were really a lot of people and we lined up for more than an hour. When you get to the island opposite, there will be people soliciting customers. You can choose to walk, motorcycle, or wild boar. Because we went up late, we took a wild boar (the van was really scary when I think about it now) and went directly to the temple on the top of the mountain for 60 yuan. There were only two of us at the time, so it would be cheaper if we could share with others. There is a white pagoda on the top of the mountain, and there is also a temple where you can burn incense. Baoen Temple is on the mountainside, and we met a driver halfway who took us there for 20 yuan. Inside Baoen Temple is the God of Wealth Temple. Going further inside, you can ask for divination. Asking for divination is to rejoice in the merits, and then take your number to the circulation office to exchange for divination paper (2 yuan per piece). The master said that there are no monkeys to see on this mountain. It costs 80 yuan per person to see the monkey island, and a private boat will take you there. In the end, we didn't go, but I heard that the monkeys there like to eat jelly. If you go, you can prepare in advance. Overall, it's good, climb the mountain, blow the wind, and burn incense. It's suitable for family to go together.
