阿歪609Some places don't need you to deliberately seek meaning; simply being there in peace is enough. Ganden Monastery is such a place. Standing before the red walls and golden roofs of the temple, watching pigeons fly across the blue sky, and hearing locals devoutly praying amidst the swirling incense smoke, even though you can't understand the scriptures, the peace transcends language. The old woman spinning the prayer wheel, her wrinkles etched with serenity, reminds you of what life should be like. It's not grand, but it brings a sense of peace. Standing on the hillside overlooking the entire city, suddenly the hustle and bustle of Ulaanbaatar seems to have subsided. Arriving without too many expectations, you find instead a sense of tranquility.
