顾敏鑫It's a very lively scenic area. The outside is free, but it's become quite commercialized. You need to buy a ticket to enter the government office (州衙). Inside, you can climb the city walls and see the gardens. The government office itself is quite nice, and there are even court trial performances, so it's worth watching.

_uc***12The scenery along the Xin'an River is breathtakingly beautiful, making it an excellent place to heal the soul. The boat ticket and attraction package for 138 yuan purchased online is great value for money, and the scenery is comparable to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. Thumbs up and highly recommended.

Compared to Xidi and Hongcun, the historical buildings here are more scattered, interspersed with residential buildings. The strong smell of pig pens was a bit off-putting upon entering the village. Otherwise, it was okay. Tickets are cheap, and parking is convenient.
