We always like a trip to the Italian Republic for a nice Italian meal.The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the staff are all lovely.The food is excellent with lots of choice.I would recommend this restaurant to families or just couples it&rsquo;s very good.

We had a wonderful evening. It was my wife&#39;s birthday. We felt like family. The food was simply extraordinary and the service perfect. Absolutely recommended.

Had a super meal in the beautiful terrace garden. Pizza and pasta delicious. Staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. Very reasonable prices. Looking forward to returning.

We noticed this new french restaurant had set up in Almancil last year, but didn&rsquo;t get around to going until yesterday.  What a great place!  Run by a lovely young couple making their way in the restaurant business, it was a real treat. The French cuisine is exceptional and although they stick to a limited menu they really have got it right.  In the low season they concentrate more on lunch service, but dinner was excellent as well.Well worth supporting and wish them every success.

Poor service. While the lady who seated is was lovely, the male waiter was rude and slow. He dropped the dishes on the table like he was serving food in a jail, rough and unkind, and walked off without a word. He charged extra for items that he made us believe were included, like adding a small scoop of ice cream to a tart for an additional &euro;1.70. He didn&#39;t bring us our drinks. When I went to get the bill be wouldn&#39;t make eye contact, didn&#39;t ask me why I was there and looked like he was doing other things, then he gave me the bill and didn&#39;t say anything. Just waited. So I paid. It was so weird. I felt like he didn&#39;t want me there. Other customers, including Portuguese customers, were also disappointed with this waiter. He ruined the experience.However, the food was good quality. But the roadside ambience was a bit rough with a building site across the road, the price of a family meal of 4 with no alcohol was &euro;87 and the success was very slow and rude. So, all in all, a real disappointment.

Highly recommended.  First visit.  Excellent food, good value.  Service would have been five stars but for the uncomfortable experience with the server upon sitting down - booked a table for two with the excellent Fork discount but were joined last minute by another couple, so arrived as a party of four - when we were told the discount would only apply for two people.  Which I expected and was absolutely fine.  We&rsquo;d have had no issue paying normal price..  But it was somewhat embarrassing to be told like that in front of our friends.  Left a slightly sour taste to what was otherwise a wonderful first visit.  The same server was otherwise excellent and very polite.

A little quiet, but then a Sunday evening in February.  The food was excellent and even better value for money as there was a great offer on the A La Carte menu so it was pleasantly cheaper than normal.Highly recommend this place as excellent value for money even at full price.

It was my birthday and I could not have been treated any better. Food great. Service exceptional and I normally use that word sparely. A lovely lovely evening.

Beautiful restaurant. It was feb so sat inside and it was heated perfectly. The staff were very attentive and polite. The food was amazing and we will be back again for sure for the tomato and pesto garlic bread 🥰

Evening meal with our son who was visiting from UK. A great way to spend his final nights holiday. The owner and staff are really attentive and make you feel so welcome. Food was lovely and all the little extras such as salad with your meal and biscuits with your coffee, and even a port to end the evening. We are becoming regulars now and love the place either for lunch or dinner.
