why are you in this place?

    Original Text

I stayed at a nearby public inn so I went there in the morning. Park in the parking lot under the two parking lots and take a long approach slowly. Suddenly, you can see the vermilion Niomon Gate. It has been restored, but it is a national treasure. Why did you make a wonderful mountain gate in such a place? I didn't go to the temple because I was tired.

Prefectural Road No. 1 was a quiet Satoyama landscape, but the road leading to Komyoji Temple, which is one, is a pretty mountain road. When you just raise the altitude and occasionally open your visibility, you can see the middle of the next mountain 々. Tango? Is it Tanba? It has the same scenery in all directions. I think it's about 5km, but it's about 20 minutes. There is a parking space where about 5 cars can be parked around the time you think you have arrived. There is no signboard that will guide you especially kindly, but there is a steep staircase to the left and ...

    Fixed の National Treasure Erwangmen

    Original Text

An old temple standing in the mountains of Ayabe City. It is famous for Niomon, the only national treasure building in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture, but if you turn it back, there are not so many others. If you go by car, there are two parking spaces under the Nio disciple and the main hall, so you should decide which one to choose. If you use public transportation, it is recommended to use Ayabe Onsen as a base. The surrounding area is good, so it is good to walk on foot.

The dragon tiger carvings by the sculptor Masasada Nakai and his brother Masayo are worth a visit. There is a parking lot on the mountain road about 2km from Ayabe Onsen.

The national treasure Niomon is famous. There is also a large parking lot, but there were no other people on weekdays. Niomon and Tsuribell Hall have successfully completed restoration work and have regained their appearance 750 years ago.
